"Bee, why are we here?" I asked again, he didn't make a sound.
"Let me out." I demanded, stepping out as soon as he opened the door. A few meters away I saw Sam and Epps by the wreckers. They had to know what's going on. I ran over as fast as I could.

"Kicking the autobots out. Can you believe this is happening?" Epps said, and I stopped dead behind them.
"They're what?!" I cut in, making them both turn.
"Lexie, you don't know?" Sam asked, confused. I shook my head, "it seems I wasn't woken up for the news." Epps came closer and pulled me into a hug.
"I'm afraid that's not the worst part.." He muttered, and I pulled back.
"What do you mean?"
"You have to stay." Sam spoke up from the back, instantly, I shook my head.
"And if I refuse?"
"The decepticons wipe us out." I glanced down at Sam's hand, which was tightly gripping his leg. "What's the time?" I asked.
"Huh?"
"Time, you've got a watch." Sam looked down at his arm, "oh right, yeah.." He still didn't answer, and I rolled my eyes. That was no normal watch. Suddenly, I heard the familiar sounds of engines coming closer. They were leaving. "Bye Epps, Sam hurry up!" I shouted, before transforming and running as fast as I could to the ship.

"Dad! Wait! Don't do this, you can't do this!" I cried, and he turned to me, refusing to make eye contact. "We must." Was the reply, and I shook my head.
"I know you, there's always a plan." I wrapped my arms around him, and he kissed my head.
"Oh, a heads up, don't tell Sam anything. His watch isn't a watch." I whispered, before leaving him and walking towards Bumblebee.

"What are we going to do?" I asked, tears threatening to fall.
"It won't be long, I promise. If you and these people can't find a way for us to return, I know you'll find a way to us." He assured, switching through various radio stations. I smiled, "I love you Bee, I'll see you soon, I promise." I whispered.
"I love you too, Lexie." With those words, we shared what would be our last kiss, in a long time.

I shifted to my human form, flying in front of the ship. "I'll miss you guys, promise me you'll look after each other." I requested, and they all gathered around. "Please." One by one, they nodded.
"Take care little one."
"I'll see you again, I'm going to win this war! I love you! I love you all!" I started to cry as I fell to the ground, and was pulled away by soldiers. "No! No! Get off me!" I screamed, running away and straight to Sam, falling beside him. Simmons came over in his wheelchair, "Years from now they're gonna ask us, where were you when they took over the planet? And we're going to say, we just stood by and watched." He spoke sadly, looking up, and I just sobbed silently, unable to change a thing.

Everyone made their way inside, but me and Sam found a place on the roof to just sit. Then it was done, and I was forced to watch as my family flew away in a rocket. As they were gaining height, I saw a familiar jet heading straight towards them. "Sam...Sam!" I screamed and got ready to fly, but it was too late. I watched as the ship exploded, and fell to the sea. "No! No! No!" I screamed, tears starting to fall as my heart shattered into pieces. The decepticons had done it, they had killed my family. I always thought it'd be the other way around, and now it wasn't, I was losing control. "Lexie, remember to control your powers." Sam pleaded, running over and pulling me into a hug. I rocked myself back and forth, "it hurts Sam. It hurts." I sobbed, and he shushed me more.
"It's okay, you're okay. Shh." I shook my head, before closing my eyes. I'd wake up and it'll all have been a bad dream.

Except when I woke up half an hour later, I was in the back of a car with Epps and Sam. "Where are we going?" I questioned, sitting up.
"Chicago. To fight." Sam replied, and I nodded.
"Thank you, Epps." I leant forwards, and patted his shoulder.
"It's not just me, look behind us." I did as he said, and saw 2 more cars.

I stared out of the window as we entered the city, people stood calling for their family, for their friends. Others ran, screaming in terror. As we drove in, people shouted at us to turn around, saying it was the wrong way. But this was too personal, I was fighting till death if I had to. The city itself was in ruins, each way you turned there was smoke, and death, and sadness.
