Chapter 19-Peace is only found in dreams

"So what's next?" I asked as we drove back home from the navy base.  We had left the twins with the Egyptian army just in case any of the decepticons escaped and attacked again. "We do what we always do, you go with Sam and we go with the army." Optimus replied, but this time I found it quite irritating.
"Sam's not going to be able to help me forever." I stated as we drove in through the gate. We soon got inside and transformed so we could speak easily.

"I know but we can't exactly explain the situation to anyone can we? Your face was all over the news, you have to lay low. Which means staying away from the base," he explained.
"Why do I have to stay away from the Army?! What are you so worried about?!" I started to raise my voice, pretty annoyed with the situation.
"I'm not having this argument Lexie! You will not stay here!" He towered over me, and yet I stood my ground, staring into his eyes.
"You know what, I don't want to stay here anyway, I'm going!" I shouted turning away and transforming to human, making myself invisible and flying away, ignoring Bee's shouts behind me, to where exactly was I going? A place long lost to the world, but burned into my mind.

I made my way through the overgrown leaves and bushes around it, before shaking my head in rage and sadness. "What do I do?" I sighed, laying down and just closing my eyes, the view of the thin blue threads I'd seen from the Primes came back and I lost myself with the fallen autobots...

"You should listen to Optimus, lil lady." It was Jazz who spoke to me this time.
"But it's so unfair." I replied, sighing as I walked to him.
"I know it is, but he's your father, he only wants what's best for you." He hugged me, and I reluctantly nodded.
"I know that, but I want to be with them, it's where I belong." I explained.
"Just lay low for a while, Megatron is still out there and will almost definitely be searching for you." I turned to the voice, which I would know anywhere.
"Sky!" I gave him a hug too, kneeling down, and he nuzzled my neck. "Ok, but where do I go?" I asked, I wasn't going to bother Sam again, and his parents were going on a road trip. "I think you will be fine, someone has found you." I looked up, a Prime was here too. "Lexie you must go back to your world, an elderly woman has found you. Trust her and you will be safe." He promised and I nodded. I had complete faith in my fallen family. I waved and opened my eyes again to go back to reality.

"Hello? Are you alright dear?" It was a woman, just as I had been told about. Her hair was a silvery colour and her eyes a brownish green, but not quite hazel. She looked around 50 or 60, but very healthy for her age. "Yes, thank you." I responded, sitting up as she sat beside me, wondering how she'd found the place, but in my spark I knew our paths must've been made to cross. "What are you doing out here all alone?" She asked, I shrugged.
"I had no where to go, so I wandered out here. I don't know what I'm doing to be honest." She smiled and stretched out her hand for me to take, I did so, and stood up with her. "What's your name? I'm Abbie." She informed.
"Lexie." I shook her hand, and she smiled again.
"Well Lexie, why don't you come back with me and we can try and find your parents?" She suggested. I shook my head.
"I can't. My father is always away, and my mother, well it's complicated." I told her, truth is I didn't have a mother. The cube made me to be a Prime, so that's what I was. "Well, what about any other family or friends?" She gave me a look of hope. Once again, I shook my head. I couldn't say who I knew or why I knew them, like oh yeah I know a load of soldiers, and the autobots because I'm an alien myself. That would be a great conversation, I'd end up in a mental hospital. "Well, come with me anyway. I can't leave you out here by yourself, it's dangerous. A girl once fell off of a cliff here, tragedy, right infront of her best friend." That's when I felt a pang in my chest, she was speaking about Kitty, and I was the best friend. "Alright," was all I said, following her through the woods to her car.
