Chapter 17-The Matrix

I woke up and it was roughly 6am. I walked outside, only to find the war had started and, Sam was running over to me. "Good morning sleeping beauty! Tell me, how do you sleep through bombs and gunfire? You need to lead the autobots!" He shouted, and I nodded, running straight at the pyramids where The Fallen stood. "Hey! Pick on someone your own size!" I shouted, transforming and firing shots at him.
"Oh, come now Lexie. We're family, you must remember how I took you in all those years ago, along with your pet." He laughed, deflecting all my attacks.
"Yeah well, family doesn't always get along, or maybe it's you. I mean, you did drive your own brothers into death." I spat.
"True, but wait...Is this your supposed family I see being killed? Seems you are the failure to your family," he pointed. I turned around to see various soldiers being slaughtered, and autobots falling to the ground. I then saw Megatron creeping up on Bee. I turned to The Fallen, "he would want me to fight, he is a solider." I said to myself, activating my swords, inherited from my dad of course.

Then I felt it, a searing pain, Bumblebee! "You see, there is nothing left to fight for, join us and you will rule by my side, my successor." The Fallen offered as I fell to my knees. I felt myself shrink into my human form and cried, looking at Bee's limp body. "No! There is everything to fight for!" I fought back, holding in the anger.
"Really? Take another look. Hundreds of humans dead, along with the puny autobots." That was all it took. The pain, the anger, the loss, all of it came out in one burst of pure energy.

My body shook as I lay there unable to stop the power as it destroyed the world around me, the decepticons evacuating. Then there was a huge shockwave, the loudest boom I'd ever heard, and everything went still. I opened my eyes and saw the world around me was gone. I was floating, surrounded by a void, I had destroyed the earth. 7 billion people dead, because of me, children, babies, animals, dead. All because I couldn't control my power. It still shook my body, electricity sparking off, not stopping. My eyes glowed, one blue, one red. But the power, it was strong, I couldn't stop it. All I knew was I was alone, alone and a murderer.

No one's POV
Lexie lay asleep and the rest of the group sat around the fire. That's when they heard thudding, tossing and turning. Then a blue light shot over them. They all looked towards Lexie, who was shaking violently. Her body was sparking, her skin blue and red. Sam ran over, soon followed by Mikaela, then Simmons and Leo. "Wake up Lexie!" Sam shouted, trying to pin her her down to stop more scratches. Her skin was being grazed and cut by the rocks, but still she didn't stop shaking. "Hey, come on!" Mikalea shook her, but quickly stopped, and ran outside. Sam stayed and shook her non stop until he felt a sharp pain in his hand, an electric shock.

Mikaela soon returned with the autobots, and an extremely worried looking Bumblebee. "Okay! Bee get over here quick!" Sam shouted as the robot rushed over and picked her up in his hand. He lay her down and rocked her gently, his giant hand acting as a huge bed. "Hey, come on Lex. Don't do this to me, come on." He whispered, as she slowly stopped.
"That's it Prime come on." Mudflap added, walking over.
"Ninja power, girl!" Skids added. Suddenly she shot up, opening her eyes.

Lexie's POV
I woke up, and saw I was being held in Bumblebee's hand. I felt tears stream down my cheeks, I looked around and saw everyone was okay. Bee lifted me up and I buried my head in his cheek. "What is it?" He asked, and I shook my head.
"It was just a nightmare. I lost everyone, everything was gone. The earth was destroyed. We lost our fight and I was the only one to survive. Just because of my past with the decepticons. They kept me alive so I could join them, but I refused....I was left to roam the earth alone, all life, animals, human and plant. Gone." I explained, lying about half of it.

Bee shushed me and placed me down. He walked outside and transformed, I turned to Sam. "Thank you guys, all of you." I smiled lightly, and they nodded. Then I spotted the burn on Sam's hand. "Wait. Was that me?" I asked, and Sam looked at his hand.
"No...this um...yeah," he admitted.
"Great, so first me and Jetfire broke your finger and caused you to wear a huge bandage, then I burnt your other hand. Come here, and hold out your hand." I ordered and Sam did. He held out his hand, "don't move." I felt energy flow through me, and I directed it at Sam, healing the burn on his hand. He looked a little bit shocked, but thanked me and walked away.
