Chapter 13- The Cube

Soon, we found ourselves being carried away in a helicopter to sector seven, there were two other people with us, who Sam decided to start a conversation with. "So..." He started.
"What did they get you for?" The girl asked.
"Uh- I bought a car. Turned out to be an alien robot." Sam replied.
"And her?" She asked, meaning me.
"One of them." He simply replied, and I saw the man's mouth form a 'wow' shape
"Who knew?" Sam shrugged. I just stared out the window, what the others didn't know is that I knew Bee was in pain. I could feel it.

After we landed, we were led along a bridge, only to see Simmons stood with a few other agents. "Hey, kids. I think we got off to a bad start, huh? You must be hungry? You want a latte? Ho-Ho? Double venti macchiato?" Simmons asked.
"Where's Bumblebee?" I snapped, pushing past Sam and Mikaela.
"Sorry she has a temper, where's my car?" Sam repeated my question pushing me back.
"Son, I need you to listen to me very carefully. People can die here. We need to know everything you know. We need to know it now." The agent stood next to Simmons said.
"Okay. But first, I'll take my car, my parents. Maybe you should write that down. Oh, and her juvie record. That's got to be gone. Like, forever." Sam stated
"Don't forget Mojo!" I added, and Mikaela said a quick thank you to Sam, before we followed them inside.
"Man's an extortionist." I heard Simmons mutter.

Once we were inside the lab Simmons started to talk again. "All right, here's the situation. You've all had direct contact with the NBEs." He said to the soldiers
"NBEs?" One asked
"Non-Biological Extraterrestrials. Try and keep up with the acronyms. What you're about to see is totally classified." He said leading us towards a transformer.
"Dear God. What is this?" Keller asked.
"We think when he made his approach over the north pole, our gravitational field screwed up his telemetry. He crashed in the ice, probably a few thousand years ago. We shipped him here to this facility in 1934." Banachek explained.

Only then did I get a closer look at the transformer. "We call him NBE-One." Simmons said. I tapped Sam's shoulder.
"Sam, that's Megatron, leader of the decepticons," I whispered, knowing he could see my fear.
"Well, sir, I don't mean to correct you on everything you think you know, but- I mean, that's Megatron. He's the leader of the Decepticons." Sam repeated my information to Simmons.
"He's been in cryostasis since 1935. Your great-great-grandfather made one of the greatest discoveries in the history of mankind. Fact is, you're looking at the source of the modern age. The microchip, lasers, spaceflight, cars, all reverse-engineered by studying him. NBE-One. That's what we call it." Simmons told us.
"That wasn't his flight to earth, he was here long before he crashed," I informed, thinking back to my long time with the enemies.

"And you didn't think the United States military might need to know that you're keeping a hostile alien robot frozen in the basement?" Keller suddenly asked, turning to Simmons and blanking me out, something I was growing too used to. "Until these events, we had no credible threat to national security." Banachek stated.
"Well you got one now."
"So why Earth?" Lennox asked, turning to me.
"It's the Allspark." I replied.
"Allspark? What is that?" Keller asked.
"Well, yeah, we came here looking for some sort of cube-looking thing. Anyway, mister NBE-One here, a.k.a. Megatron, that's what we call him, who's pretty much the harbinger of death, wants to use the Cube to transform human technology to take over the universe. That's their plan." I explained.
"And you're sure about that?" Simmons asked me.
"Yeah... I... Never mind. I'm sure." I responded, not wanting to reveal I only knew from living with the decepticons for 70 odd years. Simmons and Sam exchanged glances. "You guys know where it is, don't you?" Sam asked.
"Follow me." Banachek ordered.

"You're about to see our crown jewel." Simmons said as we walked to another room. That's when I felt it, the connection, the all spark was calling me. They all walked off somewhere, but I didn't pay enough attention to know where, all I knew is that I had to get to the allspark. My body started to glow blue as I got close and started to reach out. Suddenly, a jolt of electricity connected with my fingertips and I felt something, in fact a lot of things. It felt like I was connected to multiple energies, life forces, but I didn't know who. Then I felt a freezing pain that wouldn't stop.
