Beth's POV

I woke up when the plane touched down. Soon I got off the plane and immediately saw Jonah. I ran up to him and hugged him.

"Bethy!" He yelled squeezing me until I couldn't breathe.

"Jonah I missed you too, but right now I can't breathe!" I say.

"Sorry." He says loosening his grip. We grab my bags then we start catching up on everything in our lives that's happened since he left. I'm meeting his band in a few days, no I haven't met them yet. I don't even know what they look like.

I know what your thinking 'how could you not know what they look like?' Well after Jonah left I threw myself into my schoolwork so I haven't had much free time.

"Bethy, where are you gonna stay?" Jonah asks snapping me out of my thoughts.

"I found an apartment I can rent for at least a few months with the money I saved up but I have to get a job soon." I replied.

The Next Day...

I woke up, took a shower, got dressed, and did my makeup for the day. Then I went to Starbucks.

While I was waiting for my coffee a guy about my age with brown hair and warm brown eyes came up to me.

"Hi." He said.

"Hi." I said back. He was cute and I could tell he was about to start flirting from that smirk on his face.

"What's a girl like you doing here all alone?" He said. Called it!

"Getting coffee, like everyone else here." I replied.

"I'm Zach." He told me.

"Bethany," I responded "but you can call me Beth." He smiled.

"Pretty name." He was flirting again.

     "Thanks." I responded.

"Can I have your number?" He asked.

"Sure." I don't usually give my number to strangers who hit on me but this guy is cute. Also, I can tell he's a nice guy, it's a talent I have. I took his phone and put my number in. He did the same.

     "Beth?" The barista called out.

"See ya later Zach." I said grabbing my coffee and walking away, winking at him before I go.
