I walk into the kitchen and put some toast into the toaster. I hear the door close and I jump. I turn around and see Zach looking at me. He leaned against the counter and stared at the floor.
"What are you making?" He asks.
"Just some toast. I am eating for two now haha."I reply. The toaster pops and I jump again.
"Yeah, about that." He says. He looks at the ground. "The first time you and Corbyn met, he described you as the most beautiful girl. He wouldn't stop talking about you. I thought he was lying, until he brought you home the first time. I saw you, standing in the doorway, and I was helpless."
I pulled my toast out of the toaster and walked over to the fridge.
"What do you mean?" I asked, spreading strawberry jelly on my toast. He rubbed his head. I looked at him and he looked up at me.
"I'm a bad person, Y/N. I want you and I know that that's wrong. You are a married woman. But that doesn't mean I want you any less." He whispered. He shifted closer to me and I began to feel uncomfortable.
"I'm with Corbyn, Zach. Not you. And I'm not leaving him. Even if you offered me all the money in the world. I think you should go. Now." I said. The tension in his voice began to rise.
"You aren't listening, Y/N!!! We could be happy together, d*** it!" He slammed his fist against the counter. I grabbed my food and walked out of the kitchen.
"If this happens again, I will tell Corbyn. And you won't be here. Ever again." I said. I slammed the door shut, leaving him by himself.
