"Mommy mommy, look!" Alex smiled up at me. I put down the remote and looked at him. In his tiny hands he held a ball of clay. It had a face carved into it and pointy ears on top.
"It's Ranger!" He exclaimed very prions of himself. I smiled and picked him up and set him on the couch.
"Good job!" I said. He smiled at me, his blue eyes shining in the morning light creeping through the windows and glass door.
"I need to go potty." He said. He slid off the couch and ran down the hall. I speed walked after him. He ran into his room and sat down and started playing with his legos.
"I thought you had to go to the toilet!" I laughed.
"Tricked you." He said. I laughed and walked to my room. Ranger lied beside Corbyn and they were watching Treehouse Masters. I sat down next to him and ran my fingers through his hair.
"Hey babe. What're you doin?" He asked.
"I came to see you." I whispered. I leaned down and kissed him.
"Do you ever miss the boys?" I asked. He looked up at me.
"I guess. I mean we moved like a month ago so I'm not feeling that yet." He replied. He sounded so hot, his voice still in its 'morning phase'. I smiled and kissed him again. Ranger turned around, plopped down, and groaned.
"What, boss dog? What do you want?" Corbyn said. He looked up at us and sighed. I reached over to pet him, my fingers tracing the gray hairs around his ears and eyes.
"7 years and still goin old man." I said. He winked at me. I laughed.
"I'm going to make some breakfast. I hope you're in the mood for waffles, because that's what Alex is going to want." I walked out of the room.
"He gets that from me!" I heard him shout. I smiled and looked down. I walked into the kitchen and combined milk with batter mix. Alex walked into the kitchen and tugged at my Jammie pants.
"Can you make colors?" He asked.
"Yes I can! Which do you want?" I asked back. He put his finger on his chin.
"Ummm. I want red. Vampires eat red pancakes!" He clapped his hands and ran around the kitchen with his arms outstretched. I giggled and added 5 drop of food dye into the batter. I stirred it and added 3 more until it was bright red.
