Ugh I know that I am the worst person ever at updating. School is stressing me OUT and I am not very active on my phone a lot. So I am truly sorry about not updating. Here is a new chapter!!! Also, can we celebrate 13k reads?! You guys are about to make me cry. Stay strong, stay beautiful, and stay you!!!!!!

"Mommy!" Alex tugs at my pants. "I want a baby sister!" Corbyn and I gasp and stare at each other.
"How about a fish?" Corbyn asks. I laugh and look at him.
"Alex how about you go play with your trains while daddy and mommy talk." I reply to him. He smiles and runs off.
"What do we tell him?" I ask Corbyn.
"Well, I want a daughter too." He nsaid.
"You're kidding, right?" I ask, lightly laughing. He's not laughing. I look down at my hands. Do I want another child?
"I want a daughter. I hope you do too." Corbyn says, placing a gentle hand on my thigh. "Let me think about it." I say, then get up and walk to our room. I lay down on the bed and pat the mattress. I was expecting Ranger to hop up, because he used to follow me everywhere. I realized what I was doing and instantly broke down in tears, my body shaking with every cry. I feel a tight pain in my chest, a pain you can never undo. The kind of pain that only comes from heart breaking sadness that makes you want to curl up in a ball and just disappear. I hear the floor boards creaking behind me and turn around. I stare in disbelief at who I see standing there. The one person I swore that I would never see again.
It was my mom.
