Hoseok

I walked into my personal workroom which looks exactly the same as my own room except for the bed and bedside table. Other than that, it is a complete replica of my workroom and my bedroom.  I placed down my plastic cup of caramel macchiato and thought of the girl that I bumped into earlier.

She had the same drink as me earlier and was wearing a pencil in her hair all along as she came back to find me. From the looks of it, she looks like someone who can write. Maybe she is a writer. A cutie clumsy writer who misplaces her stuff all the time.  How does she look like again?? She has big eyes like a Caucasian, a cute button nose, and pink kissable lips. She looks like a caucasian but also like a Korean at the same time. Is she mixed??

She smelt like caramel macchiato and I love the caramel flavored stuff. Does she like it too?? Should I buy something caramel as thanks to helping her find her thumb drive?? I should right??  It took so long to find that thumb drive but it was all worth it and I got to meet her all in the same day.

Flashback

"Sorry..." I said to the person that I just bumped into. She apologized as well and left in a hurry.

She looks beautiful and I noticed that one thing from her hand slipped off and laid off somewhere. What is the thing that she dropped?? I looked at the watch and gasped. I am already late for my story-telling session for the children that are supposed to be here at 2.

I rushed to the toys exhibitions that the children will be visiting and prepared all the stuff that is needed for a simple story-telling session for young children. I have two jobs, being an idol is my main career while volunteering to tell stories is my hobby. I stumbled on this hobby when I was just visiting this very museum on this day 2 years ago because one of my members NamJoon wanted to go to the exhibition and I was dragged along. So I eventually went to the exhibition but he was late. So I stood outside the exhibition while waiting for him to arrive.

That's when my storytelling hobby came in. There was a storytelling session about toys and the person who is supposed to volunteer couldn't be here on time. They were at a loss and didn't know what to do. It was all chaos for the children because they were all crying, no one was there to tell stories to. So I decided to try my luck at storytelling and did storytelling for the first time as an adult.

I truly enjoyed that experience and that's when I started to do storytelling when I have the time. I sat down on the floor while taking out the stuff that I needed - a storybook, a pointer. I also had a whole bag of snacks for each of the children after telling the story to them.

I heard chatters a few minutes ago and I knew immediately that it was the children. I stood up and faced the children with the usual smiles that I give to the fans but more pure and sincere. I have to feel sincere for the children to trust me. "Annyeong!! I'm the storyteller for today, my name is Hoseok Seonsaengnim. Say my name."

"HOSEOK SEONSAENGNIM!!" The children replied as what they are told. I began reading the story and they listened to me attentively.  Some even asked questions along the way and I answered them very well. Those questions are the generic ones that I have thought of it before coming.

"So, I was saying that toys come in all sorts of shapes and sizes. Toys can be the same size as me or as small--" I noticed that a child was holding onto something very small that looked like a toy car.

"Yes, like what he is holding onto. Toys can be that size but it can be dangerous for young kids as they might swallow it by accident." I added and the children nodded.

"So, if your Omma or Appa wants to buy you toys, tell them not to buy toys that are too small. Is that okay?? You don't want to choke and die and your parents would be very sad."

Upon saying the word 'die', the child from earlier immediately gave me the toy that he was holding to. "I can't play with this right??" He said pouting.

"Yes. You want me to keep this for you??"

He nodded. "You can keep it instead. It is not a toy car, it is something else."

"What something else??" I said as I stopped the session for a while to examine the toy that the child had just given me. It looks like a racing car from a glance but when I opened it, it is a completely different thing. It is a thumb drive, a 32 GB thumb drive in the shape of a racing car. It must be a limited edition of 'some random electronic company' that is released this year, I have wanted to purchase this but it ran out of stock within 5 minutes of its release.

"What did you find this, little one?? I'm sure that your parents wouldn't buy such a thing for you." He scratched his head, trying to remember where he found it. I also became impatient as I wanted him to remember where he found it so that I could go back to the storytelling.

"He found on the floor near the plants at the entrance of the museum. I saw him pick it up and he was playing since then." A girl sitting beside him told me. Maybe it is hers... I kept in my pocket, hoping that I would have a chance to return it to her if I was lucky to find her.

Flashback

There was a knock on the door and someone with ridiculously large shoulders entered the room. "You're here as expected." He said, sitting down next to me. "Have you had lunch yet??"

"Of course, I have. Jin hyung, have you tried the coffee from RV coffee??"

"Not, why??"

"Their coffees are delicious. Have a sip." I handed him the coffee and he took a sip of it.

"Mhm, they are really delicious. It is down the street right??" I nodded.

"Why suddenly RV?? I thought that you have always been a fan of Starbucks."

"I don't know, maybe a change of coffee brands may help me in composing. I have gotten a bit of inspiration ever since I bought my first coffee from there." Or maybe it is because of her, the writer wearing matching outfits as me.
