I had the instinct to get myself out of the way, cover myself with sunglasses and a face mask and avoid all human interaction. I have never expected that my character would even get that popular when I am just a cameo character who will never appear ever again.

Not even when I was writing this story a few years back that this character would be popular, no one gives a damn about cameo characters and they are not even that important to the storyline anyway. But not with this particular character that I have acted in this drama, I seriously have no idea why the audience liked it so much.

A teenage girl got closer to me and pointed her finger at me. "Oh! You're that bully from yesterday's drama!" She squealed in delight as she stares at me, making me feel even more uncomfortable about myself. I don't like this at all...

"You are so good at acting, you are even better than Jung SooJung. She sucks at acting." She held up both hands up and clenched them into fists. "I love you a lot!"

I gave her a weird look, not knowing why she said that. I shook my head and made my way into the office building where a meeting is being held at the last minute, Seokjin ssi wanted all of the production crew to be at the meeting to discuss the ratings of the first episode and of course about the characters that everyone in town has been talking about.

The girls congratulated me a lot after watching the drama last night and finding out that people wanted me to be on screen more often rather than just for a minor role, they even planned everything for me when I haven't even decided what I would want to do with his character.

Joy told me beforehand that she would definitely want to be my stylist if I were to be popular and he considered a celebrity, Seulgi would want to draw me as one of her artworks, Yeri wants to prepare all of my meals and Irene, being the most ambitious of all, she wanted to be my manager. It is as if I was really an actress, to begin with which I clearly am not, I don't have the chance to be an actress.

Frankly speaking, I have no desire to ever be popular nor be in front of the camera at all, what I love is to hide behind the camera and have the actors and actresses act out my story and not the other way round.

I opened the door to the meeting room and I could already hear loud noises about the people inside there, they were all talking about how I saved my own drama by acting in it. They all stopped talking once I made my appearance and they all got up, congratulating me on my hard work and my contribution to this drama even though I felt that I didn't do as much as they thought that I had.

I am just a scriptwriter and one of the less important producers in the drama, what I say doesn't really matter when it comes to the director and the head producer. They are really the ones that made this drama possible.

"You were great, Wendy!" The head producer congratulated me, handing me a cup of coffee in my hand as she squeezes my shoulder. "What have you been keeping up your sleeves? How are you that good at acting?"

"Nothing much, it is just a coincidence," I told her and I took my seat next to her. "I was just there."

"I would have made you an actress if you were to audition years ago, you didn't disappoint me." The camera operator took it from her. "Are you sure that you are acting for the first time? You are a natural in front of the camera." I gave an awkward smile and I looked towards the man who is sitting at the far end of the table, sipping on his coffee.

Seokjin ssi only chuckled and he cleared his throat, signalling everyone that the meeting is about to commence. "Alright, you guys are really energetic even in the morning. It is a good start and I love that it has a great atmosphere that we are having for this meeting. You all know why you are here early in the morning, to congratulate ourselves for our drama to break the ratings and made a new record for the first time in 5 years and it is all thanks to our beloved scriptwriter, can we shout out her name?"

"Son Wendy, the talented scriptwriter and a newly born actress." They shouted and I feel very burdened to have that title to be next to the scriptwriter, I shouldn't steal all the spotlight from the main leads when I am only the extra.

"I certainly didn't make a bad choice when I chose Wendy to be in front of the camera and SooJung ssi was the one who suggested that." Seokjin ssi continued and they applauded, making Jung SooJung at the centre of attention.

"No, I was just being very truthful. Wendy is really an excellent actress and I was shocked that she gave up acting all of a sudden." Jung SooJung replied, looking very embarrassed and I glared at her antics. This was the same a few years ago and it never changed.

During our college days, SooJung and I were up for the main role for the drama that we were going to participate in a competition. We were also eager to get the role as it suited the both of us really well, the lecturers also had a very hard time choosing the both of us and they decided to make us act on the spot, to immediately improvise whatever scenario is being thrown to us. The scenario is about a girl getting bullied by her best friend and I was chosen to be the bully and she was the one getting bullied.

I sat up straight as memories came back like a flash, something that I forced myself never to remember about it. That's why she wished me to act as the villain so much... So that history can repeat itself once again...

"Wendy ssi?" I responded to my own name and they smiled at me, I tilted my head to the side. "Will you agree to continue to act alongside SooJung as her enemy? The storyline can be changed quite quickly, with your skills."

I kept my eye on Jung SooJung who is starting to notice me staring at her, she is clearly looking for a fight and she knows that I will back down just because she wants me to. I was like that when I was younger but not now, I am on my own and I clearly have the upper hand right now. My reputation and popularity could get back really fast if I want to, while she tries all ways to make herself popular.

It's time for me to shine and revenge is coming real soon...
