Mine || Lance x Reader

You noticed that your boyfriend, Lance, wasn't feeling himself today. From the moment you approached him in the morning till now, he has been giving you what seems to be the cold shoulder.

Whenever you were near, he wouldn't tell you his usually cheap flirty jokes and compliments. He didn't even bother saying hello! Instead, you caught him staring at you intensely which gave you an unusual and unwelcoming vibe.

The day has ticked by slowly due to the absence of Lance's behavior. Here you are now, sitting boredly at the dinner table playing around with your food.

"[Name]?" The Altean Princess asked, concern filling her eyes. You stabbed your food goo as if it was on cue.

"Is something the matter?"

Everyone stopped what they were doing and turned their attention on you.

Inhaling, you glanced at her warily, then brought your eyes to Lance. He was silently eating and not bothering to look up at you. The princess's eyes trailed to the boy next to her and mumbled a soft 'oh.'

Silence granted the table this time. You kept stabbing your goo over and over. You were acting like you just broke up with the Blue Paladin, and it was driving you crazy.

The sound of a chair screeching drew your attention away from your food. You looked up and saw your boyfriend taking his leave from the table.

You made a 'tch' noise and excused yourself, feeling everyone's eyes boring into your back.

Following the blue paladin, you watch him take his route to his lion. Peering from the corner, you could just tell how frustrated he looked.

"And why does he stomp so loud?" You rolled your eyes at the thought. Such a child, yet you love him dearly.

As you caught up, the lions mouth was wide open like it was waiting for you. There was no sign of Lance, so you hopped inside. The mouth shut immediately.

Within a few seconds the lion sprung out of the castle and into space, which caused you to yelp really loudly.

"[Name]?" A low voice spoke from in front of you. It belonged to Lance. You walked forward towards your boyfriend's voice, which led to the control room.

"Babe what are you doing here?" He asked while looking at a space diagram of all of the neighboring planets. You stood in front of the blue paladin, blocking his view from space. Lance began to complain until you interrupt him.

"Lance." You stated while crossing your arms.

"Is something going on because it seems like you've been avoiding me all day?"

The tan boy gulped nervously and avoided your eyes. You stared at him, making the tension in the air quite uncomfortable. After a minute of waiting, you sighed in defeat.

You turned around to face the panels. Apparently this was not the brightest idea. You felt arms snake around your waist and pull you down with a force, earning a shocking noise to make its way out of your mouth.

"L-Lance?!" You exclaimed while landing on something soft. The grip around your waist tighten, making you a little nervous.

"[Name].." he mumbled. You felt a soft skin brush against your neck, leaving an imprint on how hot and heavy his breath was. This sent chills all over your body.

Your heart began to pound crazy and loudly against your chest, swearing that even the Blue Lion could hear it from inside you.

"I can't take it anymore [Name]," You felt Lance's sly smile against your skin. Before you got a chance to respond, you felt a pair of soft lips attack your neck.
