Nineteen || Losing you due to Child Birth

I'm a horrible person. I was listening to "it's quiet uptown" from Hamilton while writing this, which didn't help at all (((:

Shiro

➳ This man doesn't believe that you just left him. After cradling the baby he calls your name but gets no response. He keeps mumbling your name to wake up but you just lay there. It's pure hell for him now. After he realizes your gone, he's absolutely devastated. He doesn't leave your side. The others are concern for him. The baby cried for his father but Shiro didn't respond. He gets angry with himself and starts throwing a bunch of nearby items, while crying for you. Coran had to wake Shiro up from this nightmare and remind him that his kid is still here waiting for him. After seeing the child again, Shiro promises to never let them go for your sake.

Lance

"[Name]! Look at our ch-"

➳ One minute he's tearing up and the sight of his child and now he's a sobbing mess over you. He would hold you and beg for you to come back. All everyone would hear are his wails, mixing with the baby's cries. It was a dreadful day for not just Lance, but for everyone. They all knew how much he wanted to start a family. Lance wouldn't let dare let you go. He would start whispering "I dreamed a dream." to you while caressing and rubbing your now cold cheek. ( I had to add that I'm sorry.) Lance would set the baby against your body and wraps his arms around you and the baby. It took a while for the team to pull him away. He swears to the child that he would be the best father and never let you down.

➳ "[Name]..stop with the jokes. You could wake up now. Look at our kid."
➳ "[Name]..?"

Keith

➳ Time slows down for him. Keith becomes very angry at the world, at himself, at everyone. Once he hears the baby's crying, he completely breaks down clutching to your hand. He wanted to start a family, only for it to be taken away from him once again. This loss will stick with Keith for a very long time. During coping, he refused to look at the child. The team would yell at Keith to be there for his child, but Keith couldn't take the pressure. He was just frozen and scared at every noise his kid made. Lance yelled at Keith this time which caused him to break down again; gripping his hair in frustration. Lance approached him with the kid, and put them in Keith's arms. The sight of the baby made Keith realize that he doesn't want his child living the life he did. He swore that he would never let that happen, even though it pains him. The team would help Keith raise the baby.

➳ "Come back [Name]. I need you. Please don't leave me-"
➳ "Keith.."
➳ "I can't do this alone."
➳ "Keith she's g-"
➳ "I can't do it, I can't do it, I can't do it, I can't do it, I can't do it."

Pidge

➳ Crying nonstop. She tried to hold it in as she watched you slip away after birthing the child. Pidge goes into a deep depression. She didn't eat, didn't sleep even more, and refused to talk to anyone. Allura would have to help her cope the most and take of the child, since Pidge has no idea how to care for one. Especially in this state. She would take the baby and cradled them each and every day, whispering that everything is going to be okay. Or at least she thought it was.

Hunk

➳ Hunk does indeed cry a lot but here he's utterly blank and speechless. The love of his life is actually gone. The thought of you disappearing and leaving a child behind has him silent and mind blanked. The team tries to reach out for hunk, but he would snap. After that he realizes that you are not there anymore and starts crying uncontrollably. He refused to step in the kitchen, refused to repair, refused to do anything. When he was presented with his child, he cried even more and reached for the kid. Once the kid was in his arms, Hunk just buried his face in the bundle and hold the child, squeezing very lightly and secured.

Allura

➳ She just asked so many questions on why you had to leave her. Why were you chosen to go? This affects Allura for a very long time. Shs cries every night while holding the child, not able to sleep. She's a very exhausted, depressed mother just begging for her wife to come back. Allura tries to be happy and give the baby positive vibes which worries the team because it brings her down even more, to the point where Allura doesn't want to be alive anymore. But, she promised she would take care and raise the child, so she fought through the pain.

Lotor

➳ Ruthless and full of agony. He's just like Keith. He reacts to everything very violently and will cause the baby to cry even more and louder, which frustrates him. He doesn't want to see his child. He tries his best to ignore the cries and the generals calling for him but it just hits him with sadness and anger even more.

Matt

➳ All he heard was your piercing screams ringing in his head. He waited and waited and cried, covering his ears from the pain he heard. He was really anxious to see you. Until he was told that you passed away during the birth. Matt felt his world crumbled and there was nothing left to live for. He wished for this forever. Matt snapped back into reality when he heard the cries of his child. He spirited towards the sound pushing everyone aside and saw his kid laying in the crib crying. Matt begans to sob and falls to the floor against the wall, begging for you to come back.
