2- Party time

Shiverin Snakes is loud and crowded for a Wednesday night. I've always judged the name of this club but it's the most visited club in Hurdleton, the DJ's are always real good. The drinks get served quick and fantastic security means we never feel unsafe. Right now Adley and Zaidan are on the dance floor, dancing against each other. Whilst the rest of us are  getting drinks. 

"Two shots of tequila and then we're going dancing," Fleur shouts to me over the music. I nod in agreement as Darius wraps his arms around my hips from behind. Naya raises her eyebrows at the realisation she will have to join in.

"Don't get my girl too tipsy. Cause we still have to celebrate when we get home," Darius reminds the others. When Adley and Zaidan see that it's shot time, they join us at the bar.

"Just these shots and then no more for her," Trystan agrees. All of us except the designated drivers line up at the bar.

"Three, two, one, go!" Adley yells before we all knock back our first shot. The liquid burns the back of my throat. I feel Darius' hand on my back and I swallow the last shot.

"Weeew, ahhh let's get craazy!" Fleur shots before running onto the dance floor. Carlo shakes his head before following closely behind her. 

"Babe, let's go home in an hour," my boyfriend says kissing my cheek as we dance. I nod grinning at him, he's not trying to be a party pooper he just knows how my body works and he hasn't complained once tonight about having to share me. Darius holds my hips as I dance against him to 'More Than You Know'.  All of my friends dance around us and I have the biggest smile. Seeing my friends having fun makes me happy. I lock eyes with Naya and shake my hips in time with the music. Both of our boyfriends groan at the contact of our bums against their crotches, making us break out in laughter. 

Adley grabs my hands and pulls me closer as 'Creatures Of The Night' begins to play- it's our song. We sing it loudly as we dance.

"Our girls are hot!" Zaidan yells to Darius as they watch us dance. We aren't grinding against each other. It's probably the drink heightening Zaidan's testosterone. Darius chuckles and pulls me back into his chest. 

"I love you baby," He hums as he starts to dance. He turns me around so I am facing him. The song changes to more of a house beat as he kisses my lips lightly. My hands make their way to his hair tugging slightly as I get more into the music. 

As soon as Dua Lipa's 'New Rules' starts playing. Us girls form a circle to reveal our craziest dance moves. The boys surround us watching intently, seeing what we are like at home. When there are no boys are around. Other girls in the club join our group and dance with us. What seems like a group of singles on a night out -sing with us making our boyfriends laugh. We have no reason for the song anyway, our boyfriends are splendid. There is one who has clearly just gone through a break up. As soon as 'Without You' comes on, I grab her hands and encourage her to let loose. When the song ends she has the biggest smile on her face.

"Thank you gorgeous," she kisses my cheek.

"We all deserve to be happy," I tell her tugging Darius' hand as she walks away. 

"You're such a sweetie Emsin," Trystan pulls the thumbs up sign. 

Dancing while we are out on the town is very different how I dance in my crew. You wouldn't even think I am a dancer based on how I dance in the clubs. Darius finds it really funny. Fleur disappears for a moment we are all confused but all becomes clear when we see her at the DJ stand. She's requesting a song. When 'Does It Feel Like Falling' comes on, all makes sense. Carlo looks so smug. Fleur sprints back to us and starts dancing around us like a buzzy bee buzzing. Tipsy Fleur is hilarious. Of course Zaidan joins her, because clearly she learnt her moves from him. We all have to join in, it looks so fun. The song ends and Fleur jumps onto Carlo's back. 

"Let's go home, I want lots of kisses," she winks causing Carlo to smirk but Zaidan to cringe.

"Hey, hey you always talk about sex in front of heeer," slightly drunk Trystan says to Zaidan.

"Let's get these kids home," Darius says to Carlo. 

"Yeah cause Darius wants to have sexy time with Emerson," Adley says a little too loudly, making Naya laugh even louder. 

"Let's be honest you're all tipsy.  We're adults and of course all of us are going to get frisky tonight," Carlo chuckles leading us back to the car park with Fleur still on his back.

"Probably, luckily we're going back to my apartment after dropping the bad kids home. I don't wanna have to be there when one of the neighbours makes a noise complaint," Darius laughs a lot more than he should at his own comment. It's entertaining the amount of times he laughs at his own joke. I like it though.

"The noise complaint will be due to Naya," Adley giggles making me burst out laughing too, "ahh Trystan that feels so goood," Adley's just teasing, Naya isn't a fan of talking about her sex life and that's fine with us. There is nothing wrong with that at all. 

"Shuddup," Naya shakes her head as he climbs into the back seat of Carlo's car. 

"See you soon friends," Fleur says to us who will be travelling in Darius' car. 

"Bye lovely," I wave before getting in the front seat.

"Ah finally I can have you to myself," Darius says collapsing onto his couch pulling me onto his lap.

"It's been such a long day," I say tucking my head into his neck.

"I don't want to get it on tonight, I just wanted to cuddle you. I know you're tired and I thought it would be nicer if you slept here where it's quiet. We can cuddle and kiss till you fall asleep. We can celebrate in the morning," He plays with a strand of hair that has fallen out of my plait as he speaks. He's right, I just want to sleep.

"Let's have a quick shower first though, cause we're all sweaty," I suggest.

"Sounds like a plan," He lifts me up and walks towards his bathroom. It's funny to think back to when he invited me around to hang out with him, Zac and Penelope. He was trying so hard to impress me but made a comedy out of himself that night. Here we are now two years later and we're in love. Darius is a nut case but he's my nut case. I love how crazy he is. It makes life a blast. 

After our rather quick shower, well compared to our usual showers. They take quite a while. I don't think that quote "Save water, shower together" applies to us. We use far more water when we shower together. We are snuggled up in bed.We were initially in spooning position but I wanted to see his face so I'm facing him. I kiss the corner of his mouth as he plays with the ends of my hair. I feel him smile against my lips. I keep placing kisses all over his face and he begins to laugh. 

"Stay still, I want to kiss your lips," He says tangling our legs together. As soon as our lips actually make full contact I feel all warm. We haven't been able to kiss like this all day. There is so much love poured between our kisses. Our tongues touch and I am swept into full bliss.

"Let's stop before we use up all your energy," Darius pulls away, slightly breathless. I nod obediently. I want to wake up and celebrate.

"Goodnight universe," I whisper as I turn on my side and Darius pulls my back into his warm chest.
