Chad begins to introduce himself. Most of us are slouching and making funny comments as he speaks, "so guys I have been dancing since I was very young. My mother was a very famous Broadway dancer so we traveled a lot as I grew up. Which means I saw ways in which different countries danced. I also went to a very prestigious dance school in London after I finished school. I would consider myself very highly skilled and if you argue with the way I choreograph. You must be very blind because I am amazing. I have worked with a large amount of celebrities. You should consider yourself extremely lucky that I am working with you," so he is basically saying that he'll be working a charity case choreographing us. He doesn't know just how great we are at dancing. We wouldn't have shows with just our crew that travel internationally if we are crap. Even Gabrielle and Rafael who were making love heart eyes at him in beginning look at him with 'when will you shut up' eyes.. Who knows his sexuality? With the size of his ego I don't think anyone would even want to in any relationship with him, "I expect that you will put your utmost effort into the dances I give you because this is important. If you mess this up for me then my reputation is on the line. If you make one one mistake on the day I will ruin you."
"Ah can I please interrupt?" Wyatt says in a way that really isn't asking a question.
"No you may not." Chad starts making us all cringe.
"I will anyway. You may not know who we are. If you think you will be able threaten us and turn us into your puppets, you are wrong. We are fully capable of choreographing dances on our own, but we can't do that with so many of us. Spencer invited you, clearly because he thinks your work is incredible. But Spencer only has incredible. We are some of the best dancers you'll ever find and that is just the truth. We have been scouted from all over the world. If you think you are God's gift then you have another thing coming. I have seen some of the dances you have created and they are superb. But that does not mean that you can treat us like trash. We also have worked with celebrities. It goes two ways dude, you respect and cooperate us- we cooperate and respect you," Wyatt speaks clearly and calmly.
"Ah thank goodness someone said it," Tyra grins.
"Alright guys that is enough, lets go meet the cast," Spencer says before Chad can make anymore of a fool of himself.
We all pile into the two vans. Ten in each one. Thank goodness Chad isn't in our van.
"Oh Wyatt I am proud of you," Ronny says leaning in to kiss his cheek. They have a thing but it only really started a few weeks ago, so nothing has really happened.
"Bro, you're the real MVP," Regent pipes up from the back seat as we drive down the motorway to the theatre.
As soon as we walk into the door to the theatre I feel the familiar wave of excitement buzz through my body. I love performing in this theatre. Mum used to take me to all the productions as a kid. That is how I got into dancing.
Since it's the first day the cast are just getting familiar with each other and have been given their scripts. I mean they must've learnt particular scenes but now it's the real deal. The cast is sitting in groups in the audience seats I guess doing a kind of table reading thing. There are people on stage using big arm gestures- I assume they are discussing the set. We watch as a group stand and start moving around. They stop for a moment and start talking. As we continue to observe them, I realise they are all playing the same person.
"Well this is boring, the director emailed me the music. So we might as well be back at the studio dancing," Chad grumbles under his breath. But his mood changes upon seeing a group of girls gawking at him, "hey there, I didn't think there could be so many beautiful girls in the same room."
A few of them start to blush and Adley lets out a scoff from behind me. I love observing quietly and judging the situation in my head. Usually Adley says what I'm thinking. So I have to a let out a little laugh.
