"I wish we could've stayed at your Uncle's house longer," I tell Naya as we leave the beautiful beach side town.

"It was a bloody good night," Trystan acknowledges.

"But let's be honest guys, all of our childhood homes are almost just as nice. We've grown up so privileged. Carlo had a pretty rough start, then it got so much better. We probably all have a relative with a house like that. This holiday is pretty costly but we're all comfortable. We are those cliche rich kids aren't we?" Darius rubs his hand up my leg.

"But we are real people too. We know that our comfortable life is due to hard work. Yes, our parents are all wealthy. But they worked for it. They set an example for us all. We aren't like the people in Gossip Girl. We are definitely not that rich," Trystan laughs.

"Yeah not at all," Naya giggles.

"It's a weird thing to talk about, I don't like it. It makes me feel like I'm boasting. I guess it's always just been a hush, hush subject. Because both of my parents started with not much at all, Trystan you can understand that. It's just something we don't often acknowledge I guess. Like we know we have it good. But we just don't really go, 'oh hey, we're pretty rich aren't we?'. We just do life and appreciate the small things anyway," I contribute.

"We're humble," Naya generalises my statement.

"Yeah," I nod.

"For me I think about Penelope and how her Dad died. They own quite a large amount of the land in the forest suburb. They had terrible struggle but they were always financially stable. We have all experienced different struggles that made us thankful for our financial status," Darius points out.

"I feel like an adult talking about money," Trystan comments.

"We are adults," Naya pokes his ribs.

"It's weird how you get to certain age and you begin to realise 'shit, I'm an adult' like where the heck did the time go? I swear I was riding my Spider-man trike up and down the driveway yesterday. It's mind boggling. A year isn't even that long. It is insane," Darius brings up another topic that we all think about but just don't voice.

"I came to the realisation that I was getting older when Alexander was born. Because it seemed like a short time since Ava and I were dressing up as fairies and begging our parents to take us to Crystal Mountain. I seems like all of a sudden it happens, especially when you finish school. But then again I feel like me and Darius have been together forever but it's only been two years. Life seems to rush by but some things seem to take their time," I add.

"I remember when you made me dress up as a prince when we went to Crystal Mountain," Trystan shakes his head.

"You liked playing dress ups with us," I reach in front of me to ruffle his short, curly hair.

"Mum told me I had to," he sasses.

"Don't deny it bro, we all went through that phase," Darius smirks.

"Who did you dress up with? You only had brothers?" Naya turns to give him a questioning look.

"My cousin and Adley. Plus me and Zac liked to go to the supermarket dressed as super heroes," He admits.

"Aw I can just imagine you and Adley dressing up together," I squish his cheeks between my hands.

"Yeah we were cute," he says smugly.

"You still are," Trystan teases.

"I love when you hit on me," Darius laughs, Naya who just took a sip of water cracks up laughing, causing water to spray everywhere.
