Noodle, Russel and I ate breakfast that Russel made and talked about how glad we were to have the band back together. Noodle's English has definitely improved over the years.
"Ahsjkdneiebskbj," Russel said as he threw three pieces of toast and two eggs into his mouth.
"What?" Noodle and I asked in unison as we waited for Russel to finish chewing.
"How come Mudz didn't come down? He usually likes when I make breakfast," Russel asked.
"I don't really know. He seemed a bit upset this morning. Maybe he's just tired," I shrugged.
"I don't know, D. I wouldn't just ignore it. If Murdoc is acting weird, something has to be wrong. He doesn't like to talk about his feelings. Unless he's pissed, of course," Noodle said while eating a small piece of egg.
"Why don't you go try to get him to come down? I'll make him any food he wants. Maybe it'll cheer him up," Russel suggested.
"Alright. Couldn't hurt. Thanks Russ," I smiled as I headed upstairs. "Mudz? Babe," I called out. I got no reply so I just went right into our bedroom. He wasn't there. I let out a big, long sigh and began to cry. I sat down on the bed and sobbed. I wanted so desperately to be strong but I just couldn't hold it in. So much drama has happened all at once. I can't take it. "No, no, no, no, no!" I yelled as I began to sob harder. Noodle and Russel ran upstairs.
"He's not here, is he?" Noodle asked, with a look of pity on her face. I shook my head 'no'.
"We'll find him. It'll be okay, D," Russel said, trying to be comforting.
"I'm tired of all this! As soon as something good happens to me, it gets ruined! It's like everything I touch turns to shit!" I screamed. "I'm done. I'm done looking for him. If he wants to come back, he will. If not, then, so be it. I'm tired of him always leaving me. I don't know why I ever loved him," I cried as I laid back on the bed and let my tears fall.
"Stuart, you're saying those things because you're upset right now. You have every reason to be. How about later, after everyone has calmed down, we'll go look for Mudz?" Noodle asked. She was always the voice of reason but, right now, nothing made sense.
"You guys can. I'll be here," I said coldly as I wiped my eyes.
