"Stuart-" I began but was cut off.
"Don't. Say. Anything. You are the reason I'm even here in the first place.  Ya know I love you! I fucking love you...and you just threw me away," Stuart looked at me with teary eyes and began to walk away. I stood there for a moment.
"What am I doing?" I said to myself. I couldn't let him get away this time. I ran to Stuart and grabbed his hand.
"Murdoc, please I've already had a bad night, I don't need-" I cut Stuart off by pressing my lips to his. I felt his body loosen up. He put his arms over my shoulders and kissed back harder.
"I love you Stuart. I'm not letting you go this time. I promise I'll never hurt you again. That is, if you want me back," I looked down at my feet. Stuart put a finger under my chin and raised my head to look in his eyes.
"Of course I want you back...but if you hurt me again I'll make you go to church every Sunday and be nice to everyone there," Stuart smiled.
"I'll never hurt you again. You have my word, Stu. Now let's get home. I can't sleep easy without you in bed in my arms," I said, having a weird feeling in my chest. Saying sweet things is such an odd thing to me but, for Stuart, I'd lock up all my negative thoughts and only say nice things for the rest of my life.
