I couldn't help but feel sorry for Stu. We all had been at the hands of Murdoc's cruelty but I don't think anyone could suffer more than the poor soul who loved Murdoc; demons, bad attitude, and all. I hopped in the passenger side of the Stylo and we headed out. Murdoc was family to me. I loved him but it wasn't easy.
"Where do you think he could be?" Russel asked, not taking his eyes off the road as he drove.
"Who knows. Let's just drive around for a bit, stop in at the bars," I suggested.
"Sounds good. I hope D is okay. I don't know how much more stress the little guy can take," Russel said anxiously. I didn't really think about it until now but I hope Stuart doesn't resort to anything stupid. None of us could live with ourselves if anything happened to him. We all have to protect and be there for each other.
"Me too...," I said quietly as I stared out the window at the cloudy sky and my mind began to wonder.

I woke up as the car sharply turned and I heard Russel gasp.
"Noodle! I think that animal I almost hit was Mudz!" My eyes popped wide open. I threw open the car door and ran back to the man lying on the ground. It was, in fact, Murdoc. "Is he dead?" Russel asked.
"No. Just hand me that stick," I ordered. Russel did so and I began to poke and prod Murdoc in the stomach. He wasn't waking up. I had to resort to desperate measures. "Russ. I think you know what needs yo be done, he nodded silently and walked to the unconscious man. Russel plopped himself on top of Murdoc and sat there for not even a second. Murdoc woke up and screamed in pain as Russel stood up.
"What the fuck is going on?" He yelled at us.
"You tell us. How could you just leave Stu like that?" I asked angrily. Murdoc stood abruptly. He was breathing heavily. "How could you? Answer me!" I slapped him in the face angrily. Murdoc growled and grabbed ahold of my arms. Russel grabbed ahold of him and held him still.
"Why did you?" Russel asked.
"I didn't think Stu needed me in his life anymore. I just get him in trouble. I'm useless," Murdoc sighed and Russel let go of him.
"Why would you think that?" I asked him.
"Paula said I only hurt people," he uttered.
"Paula said? PAULA SAID?! Man, fuck Paula! She's a disgusting, lying cunt and you know it!" I grabbed ahold of his jacket and shook him as I yelled in his face. "By the way, I'm sorry I slapped you but I think you needed it. Wake up. Stuart needs you. You need him. You belong together. So, just come home, please?! He misses you," I exclaimed.
"Okay, okay. I'll come home. But, if Stuart gets hurt again because of me, I'm leaving him. I can't be the reason he gets hurt anymore."
