The past few months between Murdoc and I have been amazing. The pain from before is all gone. All I can think about is how happy I am. Russell, Noodle, Murdoc, and I are all getting together tonight and having fun as our own weird little family. I was so excited.

Stuart and I have been so happy together. I don't ever want to lose him again. I want him in my life forever. Who knew when I hit the poor bastard with my car that we'd end up together a few years later?!

"Hey guys!" I said as we all gathered in the kitchen to get pizza. The music was high, the drinks were pouring, Russel was making snow cones, and I was just so happy to be surrounded by the people I love. I usually don't like to let my emotions out but, today was different. I had such good luck. Why not let my happiness out?

We all sat around and ate and enjoyed each other's company. The band hasn't been this happy for years. Just like old times. The joy on everyone's faces made me believe that the world isn't all bad. Despite what I had believed for years. It was now getting to be late in the evening and I had something to do. I stood up.
"I would like everyone's attention," I said nervously, "there's something I have to do." I turned to look at Stuart.
"I never thought this would happen. I never thought my cold, calloused heart could feel love, but, you really proved me wrong, Stuart. Never have I trusted anyone this much. I may have hit you with my car and you suffered injuries but, it was all fate. Over the past year I've realized how lucky I am to have you and I should never take you for granted. I never want to let you go or lose you again so, Stuart Pot, will you marry me?" I asked as I got down on my knees and grabbed his hand.

"Yes yes yes!!" Stuart exclaimed. Noodle and Russel were smiling, mouths wide open. Stuart and I shared a kiss and stood amongst the incredible atmosphere.

"So, um, do you guys wanna go to the movies?" I asked everyone.

"Sure-" Russel said, being cut off by Noodle jabbing him with her elbow.

"We can't. We have to... shampoo our hair!" Noodle smiled.

"I don't have hair-" Russel said as Noodle jabbed him again.

"You two cuties go have fun. We'll hold down the fort," Noodle's eye sparkled.

"Ahh young love," I said as Russel and I watched 2D and Murdoc pull out of the driveway. "So romantic."

"'Young love' You talk like you're 80," Russel said.

"Shhh just let me enjoy the romance. I've never been in love. It lets me know that it's real. Love is out there."

As Stuart and I cruised down the highway, the music was loud and the warm summer night air blew through the windows, ruffling our hair. Stuart and I shared a kiss and in that moment, I had forgotten my past. Love is the only thing that kills the demon.
