"Wha-"  I struggle to Continue, staring at them all wide-eyed as my mouth hit the floor.  Never in my entire life had I expected to hear a sentence like that. For When my mother told me I was special as a child, this wasn't exactly what I had in Mind.

Every single bone in my body was telling me to run towards the door and never step a foot back in this house. A house filled with wolves, werewolves. The mythical creatures of my nightmares.

I couldn't help but look over and stare at the door and Hunter happened to catch me do so, narrowing his eyes as I did so.

"Cece." He grabs both of my shoulders and turns me to face him, "you've already ran once.... If you didn't believe it, then you wouldn't have came all the way back over here in the first place."

It was true. This asshole was right....

Deep down I believed it, but up front it was crazy, completely crazy. Eagerly, I push Hunters hand's off of my shoulders, not wanting him to touch me as it gave me butterflies...and it certainly wasn't a good time for that.

It made so much sense, from me being strong to the horrible events that were last night. Since I had woken up, I hadn't mentioned it but every one of my senses were going crazy.

The strongest by far was the my sense of smell, Hunter was living proof of that as any time I was in a miles radius I could smell him. And right now, the smell that was coming off of Hunter was irresistible. Rose and Aidon had familiar smells but neither were driving me as crazy as Hunter's. I literally wanted to tackle him to the ground.

He was obviously picking up that something wasn't right with me, and smoothly asked me if I was okay, following with sigh and a slight nod.

"Hunter, take her upstairs and talk to her." His mom ordered, "you're both the same age, maybe you can help her understand." She finishes by putting her hands on her head and mumbling that this wasn't supposed to happen like this.

I still had barely spoken a word since Aidon had uttered the words that had changed everything, my entire world had been flipped upside down and I didn't think that it was going to flip back anytime soon.

Hunter took me by the hand and led me to the stairs while I was feeling light-headed and dizzy. Walking didn't do that any justice as I stumbled on my feet multiple times.

"D-do you want me to carry y-" He spoke nervously, which was sorta cute but I wasn't going to admit that to him, he was a jerk.

"No.." I immediately cut him off, I wasn't some damsel in distress that needed help, from now on I was going to save myself. It was time for me to step up and stop being a child. I didn't need a boyfriend, I didn't even need another werewolf.  I only needed myself.

As stupid as it was, I was going to start by climbing these stairs. It sounds stupid, but it was quite a challenge when your head was on the moon.

One by one, I made my way up with Hunter one step behind me, ready to catch me if I was going to stumble at any point. The hairs at the back of my back stood up as his hands very lightly traced them.
