As I was walking along a small, dirt path through the woods, the sensation of fear came over me. Tickling my spine with goosebumps as I shivered unknowingly.

Yes, I was still terrified of wolves - which made absolutely zero sense since now I was one. I had fully accepted that for the first time over the week, finally acknowledging that I wasn't crazy.

It had been a full week since my birthday, and every day Hunter had made me meet him in the woods. Earlier on today, he left me a bag pack which contained a full set of clothes which he owned. He told me to bring them with me as he flashed me a smile and disappeared, so here I was, in the middle of the woods with a Bag Pack on my back and nothing to do.

It was like Hunter was giving me a mini-lesson in the woods every night and it was fitting since all he would teach me about were werewolves. I carefully look around me, not feeling safe in the area I'm in.

He taught me about alphas and their betas, basic things that I literally could've looked up on my phone. But what I didn't know about were-families, a family were like a pack, except everything was ran humanly. Although large packs were common, the bond between them wasn't a strong as a family.

The father represented the alpha, and the mother the Beta. The kids just had to fight it all out amongst themselves, with the oldest male usually gaining the highest rank.

Hunter also taught me about rogues and how after a wolf first turns they long for another's company. Which explained my 'isolation' issues the week before.

I arrived at the small private area that Hunter met me at every single day, occasionally testing my patience and turning up late. It was at the edge of a cliff and it had a deep blue waterfall that fell of the edge into a large stream at the bottom before disappearing into the woods. All you could see from the top was the dark tops of trees and forestry.

It was completely isolated.

I sat on a large grey rock covered in moss and waited on Hunter to turn up, which usually when he did - was Late. I pulled out my phone to satisfy my boredom and my head shot up when I heard something running in my direction on all fours from a large distance away. I could hear every sound that It made, from the legs making contact with the ground to the grains of dirt landing beside it.

Appearing in front of me, was a completely black and grey Wolf with large blue eyes, and it had itself targeted completely for me. It ran at top speed and was the biggest thing I'd ever seen. Slowly, I itched backwards, completely frozen.

I fell off the back of the rock and began crawling back as quickly as I could to get out of its reach. The wolf's light eyes shone like the moon as it prodded closer and closer to my face, it's breath hitting me.

There was no space between me and it at all. I prepared myself for death., shutting my eyes.

Suddenly, bones cracked and twisted in an inhumanly way and it transformed the black wolf in front of me, to the boy that lived across the road.
