Close my eyes from reality, let my mind flow against the laws of this world. I am not bound by logic. I am not imprisoned by gravity, I am not shackled by emotions, I am not restricted by my own limits; for I am the chains the binds this world together.

I opened my eyes to see the white room covered with strands of chains hanging from the ceiling like vines in a rainforest. I looked down at my hand to see a sphere made of chains, blue light seeping out from the gaps of the chains. Small electric currents leaking into the air then dispersing into nothingness.

I smiled as I felt like I had more control over my abilities and found new methods to fighting. "Zack, check this out, man!"

I looked over to see Zack sitting while looking at the ground, his eyes dull and his expression not so energetic. It was as if his mind was somewhere else. I looked at him as he just sat there, staring at nothing. Ever since the BruteWolf came, Zack has been acting weird. He doesn't talk a lot, he knows something is wrong, we all do, but he won't try to figure out the problem. Something is preventing him from even having the will to try.

The ball disappeared from my hands as I approached Zack, calling out for him, "Zack, you okay buddy?"

Every single minute, I can see him lose his energy and activeness. Like he is being drained of life. I call out for him again, "Zack? Whats the matter?"

I kneel down and touch his shoulder, he lashed out with a loud scream. Making me stumble back. Zack rushed forth and grabbed onto my shirt with a furious expression, an expression I have never seen in my life. He shouted at me, "DON'T YOU DARE TOUCH ME! YOU FUCKER!"

I couldn't believe what I was hearing, I grabbed Zack and held him down on the floor while trying to reason, "Zack! Calm down! It's just me! It's Nathan!"

"LET GO OF ME! LET GO, YOU BASTARD!!" He screamed like a maniac, thrashing about and struggling under my pressure.

"Zack, please! Listen to me!"

He raised his palm and pointed at me, a thick shard of ice erupting from his hand as he tried to pierce through my skull. But he stopped right before the shard would peirce my eye. A chain shot out from the floor and wrapped itself around the hand, pulling his hand down to the ground. He continued to flail, as I decided to chain him down at the ground before backing off. He struggled and flailed for a few minutes, screaming until giving up, he panted while on the ground as I simply watched, too afraid to approach him.

I could hear a wheeze then moan, as tears ran down his face. He began to cry and groan,"I'm...so sorry," he wept, "I'm so sorry, Nathan."

He continued to cry as I released the chains that held him down and approached him again with an embrace, although one-sided. "It's alright, I'm not angry at you."

He wiped his tears a little while sniffing and wheezing, he patted my arm for me to let go as he took a deep breath, "I thought I could hold it in a little longer, damn it."

"Zack, what's happening? I'm really worried about you, man!"

He stood up from the floor. "Me and Emily have come up with an answer but..."

"But what?"

He gazed at the floor with silence before answering, "it should be impossible for it to happen," I raised an eyebrow as he continued, "my fake counterpart...has been corrupted by a Colorless."
