when someone rejects you,
it's like them stabbing your heart
and spewing the blood
all the way up to your brain until
your brain lets some of it come out your eyes.
when someone loves you,
it's like your heart just pours all of its love
into your throat and chokes you up
until tears start to leak from your eyes
and a sigh escapes.
