whenever you hug me i get this
feeling in my jaw, this rush of
bitter electricity that numbs my
mouth and makes me incapable
of saying anything after that.
but it lights up my eyes and
catches my throat and maybe
even makes me smile, really
smile, however rare that is
nowadays. it's bitter and tingly
and really quite lovely. keep
