Sara Piper Turner Halliwell, also known as the Protector, is the Demon-Witch-Whitelighter daughter of the Witch-Whitelighter, Chris Turner Halliwell, and the Demon-Witch, Christa Turner Halliwell. She is the granddaughter of Piper Halliwell and Leo Halliwell on her paternal side and Cole Turner and Jamie Turner on her maternal side. Prior to her birth in the final season, an Angel of Destiny, told her parents she would be the savior of magic and more powerful than her uncle Wyatt Halliwell.

She was born in the Halliwell mansion while it was under attack in the final season, where only Kim Schaffer and Katie Jenkins were there to defend her at the time. Soon after her birth she actively showed her ability to use her powers outside of her mother's womb. During the final season she was targeted by a force called the Hollow, who wished to sacrifice her in an ancient ritual to maker her immortal. As a result her parents sent her to live with the Valkyries, where she aged quicker, for a time being, before she came back to help the Charmed One's defeat the Hollow.

Sara is a member of the Turner and Halliwell family, and was named after late aunt, Sara Turner, and also named after her paternal grandmother, Piper Halliwell.

Active powers: Force Field- The ability to create magical barriers and protect the user from harm. Much like her uncle, Wyatt Halliwell, she used this power in the womb and protected her mother while she was pregnant with her. Christa discovered this, and it confirmed that she was pregnant. Her shield activated unconsciously when she was around people she sensed were evil or she distrusted them.

Conjuring- The ability to materialize imaginary objects and beings at will. Sara showed a vast control over this gift and could create several objects, including imaginary people. 

Projection- The ability to manipulate reality. It is channeled through imagination, high levels of emotions, and the will to make things happen. Sara, as a baby, accidentally sent her entire family to a fairytale world. She can also astral project herself, and access several other abilities. Wyatt began training Sara to use this gift, along with her grandmother and Billie, when she came back from the Valkyries.

Shimmering-  An energy based method of teleportation that distorts the space around them, allowing users to appear at and disappear from a desired location anywhere in the world and in varying planes. Sara had this ability since birth and would shimmer all around the house. She can also shimmer with others as long as she is in physical contact with them.
