"We always knew that this day would come!" Colin's dad smiled at Helen and Colin. "Have you two thought this over?" Helen's mom asked worried. She knew Colin's history with girls and was scared that her daughter would get hurt. Also their families had been friends forever. What if they broke up? "Yes mom, this is what we want," Helen said. "How long have you kept this from us?" Colin's mom asked. "Around a week," Colin replied. "We just wanted to make sure of the way we felt about each other before we told you guys," Helen added. "Well it seems like you two have thought this through. We are happy for you," Helen's dad smiled. "Thanks dad," Helen smiled back. "Just know that if you hurt her you have have to deal with me," the whole table burst out into laughter.
The weekend was magical. Colin and Helen were not separated the entire time. They went everywhere together. On Saturday they went to a movie and then went to the mall. Usually when they went to the mall Colin would complain and complain until Helen would just give in and leave. This time Colin did not complain one bit. "Is there something wrong with you?" Helen asked looking through a rack of clothes. "No why?" He was confused. "It's just that you hate shopping," she giggled. "Honestly I don't really care about what we do. I just want to be with you right now," Colin smiled and kissed her on the head.
On Sunday they went bowling with their friends Both Colin and Helen were horrible at bowling, but Athena insisted they go because she had invited her crush on a double date. "Why do we have to do this?" Colin wined. "Because Athena asked me too," Helen replied. "But I hate Luke," Colin complained. They had a complicated history and Helen still never understood why Colin hated him so much. "Then just do this for me," Helen pleated.
Throughout each game Colin tried his best to beat Luke, but every game he won. However, Luke and Athena seemed to be connecting more so at least the bowling date was a success. "Can we go home now?" Colin whispered in her ear. "We are gonna go out for dinner first," she informed him. "Do we have to?" Colin pouted. "I will make it up to you. I promise," she smirked.
On Monday at school it was fine for their grade to have sex Ed. It was always kinda awkward since both the boys and the girls were in the same room. The lady that came in to teach it was actually quite fun. She always had them laughing the whole time with her jokes. Colin and Helen sat in the back of the room. There were no chairs left so they were sitting on the counter. Colin's arm was around Helen and she was snuggled up to him. They weren't really paying attention to the presenter, but then she said,"All high school relationships end," this caught Helen and Colin's attention. Was this gonna happen to them or would they be one of the rare relationships that last?

Lana opened the door at Colin's house. They were having a cast dinner. "What are you all doing here?" Jennifer wiped a tear that was falling down her cheek. "We are kinda having a dinner..." Lana felt really bad that they didn't invite Jennifer. "Why wasn't I invited?" Jennifer said softly and looked down at the floor. She couldn't believe that her friends were having dinner without her. "You have been so busy with Taylor and..." Lana didn't know what to say. "Why am I even here?" Jennifer turned to leave. "Wait! Are you ok?" Lana grabbed her hand not wanting her to leave. "Lana who is it?"Colin came to the doorway. "Jen are you ok?" Colin said worried. She looked like a mess. Lana left because she knew that Jennifer wanted to talk to Colin after all she went to his house.
"What's wrong?" Colin asked Jennifer pulling her into a hug. "Taylor and I were kinda making out and were about to-"
"I don't need to know all the details," Colin stopped her which made Jennifer laugh. "I kinda freaked out," Jennifer continued. "Oh, what did he say?" Colin asked. "I left before he could say anything," Jennifer said guiltily. "I think you should probably talk to him," Colin gave her some advice. "Yeah, but can I just come in. I just wanna get my mind off of it. I can't believe you didn't invite me," Jennifer slapped him on the arm playfully. "Sorry Ginny and Lana said that you would probably be busy," Colin said. "You still should have invited me," Jennifer gave him a hard stare. "Alright lesson learned," Colin lead her into the house.
They were all eating dessert, so Colin cut Jennifer a piece of ice cream cake. "Ok so tell me everything," Ginny was sitting next to Jennifer on the couch. "We were making out on the couch and he was on top of him. I just don't think I am ready for that kind of thing... I mean I want to take things slow. I feel like he wants the opposite," Jennifer explained how she felt to Ginny. "To be honest with you Jen I was kinda surprised when you and Taylor got together. Everything seemed to happen so fast. I mean he came to Vancouver with you," Ginny said. "Yeah I think we kinda took things to fast. Ginny I just want to find the right guy. Someone that will make me smile and laugh and somebody who I can just have a great time with," Jennifer explained. In front of Ginny and Jennifer Josh and Colin were goofing off trying to learn a weird dance move. "Jen how many fingers am I holding up?" She held up 3 fingers in front of Jennifer's face. "3 why?" Jennifer was confused. "Just wanted to make sure that you could see what is right in front of you," Ginny smiled to herself.
