"That was very nice of you,"
Micah's voice surprised me as I exited the recovery room. He actually waited.
"Unexpected, unnecessary but nice." He continues joining me on my walk
"Aren't you supposed to be having breakfast with the other girls?" I question him and he smirked lightly
"Not whilst you're here, beautiful."
For a prince no one knows about, he sure had flirting down to a tee. Either he practiced with unknowing subjects or Devon taught him.
"Smooth ," I respond trying to not have it affect me but failing badly.
"I try," he replies
"Maybe it'll be better appreciated with the others." I tell him coming at a stop In the hallway next to a pillar which I leaned on.
"Maybe it will but you're more interesting." He says leaning on the opposite pillar
That makes me raise an eyebrow, "In what way?"
"First of all you called me just alright, and not to sound egotistical but that really caught me off guard." He starts and I can't help but laugh a little
"Sounds very egotistical to me."
"Alright, maybe I have a little ego." He says pushing his fingers together and I shake my head before walking up to him and spreading them apart
"More around here, your majesty." I say cheekily and he smirks
"Micah," he corrects
"Micah." I repeat
"Would be helpful for you to remember that."
"I'll remember it as long as you remember mine."
"Remind me again, Ella, what your name is." He jokes and I look at him with narrow eyes
"Seems like it's slipped my mind, Michael." I retort and he chuckles dryly before his dark eyes cascaded down my face as if trying to remember every detail.
"You, Elise, I shall never forget."
I smile lightly, looking down at the floor to conceal my blush with my hair that fell during the action.
He lifts his arm and pushed back my hair behind my ear making me look up at him as he smirked at me rubbing his thumb across my cheek.
I find myself trapped in his dark purple eyes and not wanting to find a way out of it.
Someone cleared their throats and I turned to see Devon and Simone, Simone who had her jaw clenched and Devon who had a bright smile.
"We've been looking all over for you, your majesty." Simone purrs, placing a megawatt smile on her face as she walks over to us and interlocks her arms with the Prince, "Your breakfast is getting cold, I'm sure Elise wouldn't mind if we take you away for a while."
A pure actress.
I bite my lip before shrugging my shoulders.
"You're not coming in?" Micah asks
"Oh she's not hungry." Simone answers for me before pushing the prince in the other direction leaving me alone with Devon.
"You know, I was worried you wouldn't find time to mingle with the prince but I guess I underestimated you, as usual." Devon starts with the same half smirk he always does.
"Micah and I were just talking."
Devon's ears perk up, "Oh, so it's Micah now and not the Prince."
"Shut up." I reply, that seeming to be the only witty reply that I could muster
"Look at you all flustered and to think you didn't want him two days ago." He chuckled, "Oh how the tables have turned."
I roll my eyes at him before walking away
"Try not to get pregnant, Elise." He shouts after me what I had told him with Sapphire.

The Library seemed so much more appealing to me than the breakfast which would have been filled with Lena and Simone trying to get the attention of the prince all to themselves.
The library was extensive, spanning from every human war to every last little rebellion we or the vampires or the witches ever had.
I'd been wondering since I met King Vladimir how the Vampire race chooses their king which made me read up on it.
Apparently its a gruesome affair with bloodshed and defanging taking place. The King gets to chose any person he wants for a queen, she if course has to be beautiful and just as ruthless as her king in order for her to even be thought of.
Horrible, at least a lot of people didn't die in this mating.
I'm other cases, some Were's end up fighting for their mates, winner takes the girl like she's in an auction house, she really has no choice in the matter.
"Elise, glad to see you're still here." Samantha says sitting down in front of me, "I take it the Prince likes you just as I thought."
"You're going to have ask him that." I reply to her as I try to continue reading, "He has to pick between three girls."
"Lucky him." She chuckles and I hum in agreement, "So what are you doing here and not with the rest of them trying to win him?"
"Because that's not in my character," I tell her, "I don't like competition or feeling jealous, if the prince wishes to get to know me, he'll make time."
She nods her head slowly, "That's true, I guess. Can't force it."
I flash her a quick smile hoping she'll leave now but she stays and continues to talk about her relationship with the prince, reminding me on how they're childhood friends.
"How exactly did you meet? You're from the BlueMoon Pack."
"The King had called for my appearance, said I had a lot in common with his son. I've lived here ever since." She tells me and I frown
"What do you guys have in common?"
She smiled at me, "Just things." She shrugs trying to make it seem nonchalant but if it was really as simple as that she would have told me straight off the bat.
The twinge of purple shone in her eyes when the light hit it.
There eyes.
"Now that I think about it, the prince has purple eyes too." I spitball, trying make it seem casual so I can get answers without her being defensive, "His have more purple in it though."
"Isn't that interesting," she says before getting up from her seat, "See you around, Elise."
So the time I actually want answers is when she leaves?
Something's up
