ThunderClan-- normal names in a variety
RiverClan-- water or fish related names; Lilypool, Basstail, Minnowstream
WindClan-- wind or bird related names; Breezeflight, Runningfoot, Ravenfeather
ShadowClan-- dark and brooding names; Blackheart, Redclaw, Darkface
SkyClan-- normal and sky related names; Cloudpelt, Airwing, Morningcloud
* I DISAGREE WITH THIS!! I ADORE THEMED NAMES PER CLAN! It helps the canon issue that every Clan feels the exact same with no cultural differences. If ThunderClan cats canonically call RiverClan fish-breaths and weird for liking water, it doesn't make sense to name themselves after fish and water.
The only thing I agree with here is ShadowClan being named evilly. However, it is my personal headcanon that they use names involving Dark and Shade, as they honour the shadows of their territory. I also like the idea that they use "ugly" names like Toad, Gnat, Bog, Cone, etc. Not in an evil way, of course, but in their unconventional lifestyle way.
