Tao (Sad)

Unshed tears fill up your eyes. The memories that you shared suddenly plays into your mind. Only to have them crash, and breake into pieces. Your laughter, his smiles, and the kisses that he left.

Are all gone now.

You decide to walk to the park. Even though it was nearing night-time, the stars always seemed to calm you down.

You grab your bag, and walk out the door.

The fresh air blowed your hair to side. Taking a deep breath, you smiled weakly. You could still feel the warmth of his hugs.

As you walk, you pass the coffee shop. This was the place where you two laughed the most. The place where he tried the cheesy pick-up lines. The place he stole your first kiss. And the place where he decided to break your heart. Sweet and bitter memories linger in this café.

The aroma of coffee beans, brings back another memory. Not a sweet one. But the one, he decided to end things with you.

~Flashback~

It was a rainy day. The sky was grey, illuminating the tall buildings you passed. But that didn't bring your mood down.

Tao was feeling un-well, and went to Kai's house to get some of D.O's soup, so you two couldn't meet up at usual.

Bored with nothing to do, you decide to chill at the café and read the novel, you've been obsessed with all day long.

You put down your panda umbrella, and hang it on the hook. You push the door open and that smell of coffee, the one you always loved, surrounded you.

It was when you were paying your iced coffee, you hear laughter. It was usual to hear them, considering this was the best place to past time.

You would've walked away and headed to the lounge when you hear a name. A name you always called. Whether you were sad, happy, or sanguine.

Maybe it was just your imagination. You haven't seen him in a while. Maybe it just you missing him.

But when your heard a reply, you stare up and widened your eyes. That voice. Husky, deep, and Sultry.

"No, calm down, _____" you said to yourself. Don't come to conclusions yet. It might just be a missunderstanding on your part. The person might be his best friend, a cousin, or a... Girlfriend?!

The girl he was with, touched his hand, and he clasped his with hers. Their hand suddenly fitting like a perfect puzzle. Tao looked at the girl with such intensity, you barely recognized him.

He never looked at you like that. That look. That look.. reflected.. love.

You looked at the girl, and suddenly it all makes sense. She was perfect. Perfect lined eyes, perfect red lips, and the perfect body. Her hair was styled to perfection. Even the way she talked was perfect.

She was everything you were not. You look down at yourself, and your heart crashes. You were wearing a plain grey hoody, faded blue jeans, and your worn-out grey converses.

They suddenly kissed and pulled away. Both reflected the same look. Admiration. They stared at each other. No words were shared. Just staring.

No longer in the mood to read or have a beverge, you threw your drink, and put the book in your bag. Your eyes were blurry, and you just wanted to get out of there. Yet, you stayed frozen and started crying. A silent cry. Tears violently escaping your eyes.

Tao finally noticed you, and he was taken aback. What are you doing here? Guilt rushed in his veins and he pulled away from the girl he was with. The look you had was really killing him. It was not a mad look, or a glare. It was just a dissapointed stare.

The 'perfect' girl, turned around and scoffed. She motioned you towards them and you, being dutiful, followed. The girl's name was Minji, and she slapped you. Why? You didn't know. She just glared at you.

You were always fragile and non-violent. So you didn't do anything. Just stared at your feet.

"How dare you ruin a date, you skank?!" Minji shouted.

Deciding to not cause a scene, you looked up and your turned to Tao.

You smiled bitterly. "It's okay. I'm sorry, Miss, I ruined your date. I'll just head home. And Tao?" you asked. "I'll just leave your stuff on the living room for you to pick up. I'm sorry, a-again for r-ruining your date." you tried hard to not burst out into even more tears.

With that, you bowed 90 degrees, and walked home. Minji and Tao both were taken aback. Tao was still frozen.

You grabbed your Panda umbrella, and walked home silently and crying.

~End of Flashback~

That night, you gently packed his belongings and put them into boxes. All the Teddy Bears, the Jewerly he gave you, also when into the boxes.

As you packed his clothes, you couldn't help but cry again. Those clothes were the ones that
he wore to your dates.

You kept two things though. The Panda and Bear necklace, and his black hoodie.

The Panda and Bear necklace was too special. He was the panda, and you were the bear. It was your favorite. Same with the Hoodie.

The black hoodie, he gave you on your first date.

You packed everything nice and neat. Even labeling them. You stacked them in the living room, as promised, and closed the lights. Not daring to look back.

That night you cried to sleep.

Tao eventually came and went to what was left of your shared room.

The walls were bare, and the sheets were changed. He found you wearing his hoodie and the necklace he gave you. He bent down and kissed your forehead. His tears landing on your pale cheek.

Soon, the park came into view. The moonlight shining brightly. His black hoodie on your small frame.

You looked at the stars and dazed out. Soon enough you were crying.

You grab your bag, and read the novel, from 2 years ago. You still didn't finish.

As you were reading, the remaining pieces of your heart was slowly healing.

A weak smile, broke into your face. Happy Endings were only in Fairytails. This is reality.
