You had been living with the turtles and giant rat for two months and you hadn't spoken a word. Donnie was worried that you didn't go to school before they found you, and that's why you wouldn't say or write anything. It's not like you were a dumb kid, not even close. But if you didn't go to school, it would mean Master Splinter or Donnie would have to teach you. Not that Donnie minded. He loves teaching his brothers. But Raph wouldn't listen, Leo tried to listen, and Mikey was the only one who actually wanted to learn something, but he got distracted easily.
You had been sitting on the couch with your brothers, Donnie and Mikey to your left, Leo and Raph to your right when you had said it. You had started to drift off, and in your sleepy state, you muttered it. Brothers. Your brothers were surprised of course, but that were absolutely ecstatic. They snuggled closer to you with large smiles on their faces.
