Wish You Were Here (Spider-man/Peter parker x Reader)

Chapter 7

You and the AD Team were on stage and competing for first place against another school with you both tied and one question left everybody was on the edge of their seats. "Buzz" Michelle buzzed in "Zero" she said nonchalantly. "That is correct" the host replied and your team erupted in cheers

"MICHELLE YOUR AMAZING" you yell at her as you hug her.

"Great job" Ned said

"thanks you guys it really was no big deal" she said accepting everybody's complements. You walked over to Ned and said

"I just wish Peter was here to witness this where is he anyway I'm worried about him"

"yea me to I hope he's ok" Ned replies.

(Time Skip to the Washington Monument)

"Peter where are you Mr. Thomas is pissed" Ned said into his phone

"is that Peter" you ask. Ned nods and you take the phone from his grasp

"PETER WHERE THE FUCK ARE YOU" you yell at him

"Y..Y/N" he replies

"I've been worried sick and I wouldn't be surprised if your going to get expelled but maybe..." you said but Peter cut you off

"Y/N I really need to talk to Ned" you were about to hand him his phone back when the security guard said

"everything on the conveyor belt" so you placed the phone and your bag down and walked through the x-ray machine. Once you got through you collected your bag and walked over to Mr. Thomas.

"Alright class were going to get on the next elevator".

As soon as he said that the doors opened and people flooded out and the AD Team got on.

"welcome to the Washington Monument" the tour guide said emotionlessly "construction of the Washington Monument began in 1848..." after that you stopped listening and zoned out hoping Peter was ok.

As you were thinking you saw Neds backpack glow purple "uh.. Ned your bac.." you were interrupted by an explosion.

"OH MY GOD WHAT WAS THAT" Flash screamed

"I'M GOING TO DIE SINGLE" Liz cried

"everyone calm down the safety mechanisms are working we are perfectly safe" the tour guide said

"Ned" you whisper yelled"what the hell was in your bag"

"uh.. I don't know" he replied but you knew that wasn't completely true.

"yes you do" you say but all of a sudden the elevator started to shake

"take the trophy" Flash said

"Forget the trophy" you yelled but he didn't listen. Someone helped flash and a couple others out of the elevator until the only people left were you, Ned, and Liz. Liz was about to be pulled out when the elevator started to fall.

"AHHH" the three of you screamed when out of nowhere the elevator stopped falling and the three of you slammed on to the floor of the elevator.

"Ow" you say looking up

"YEA SPIDERMAN" Ned yelled getting up and fist pumping the air

"hey whoa big guy stop moving" Spiderman said

"right sorry" Ned replied helping you up. As Spiderman pulled the elevator up to the nearest opening, people forced open the doors and pulled Liz out followed by Ned. You were about to get out when you hear a crash and immediately fell. You scream realizing these were your last moments and that you were never going to get to tell Peter how you feel. Peter why didn't I tell you, now I'll never get the chance Fuck I'm such a dumbass you scold yourself.

"NOOOO" Spiderman yelled and shot his webs. Lucky they caught your foot. You stopped screaming and just hung there in shock. You could feel yourself being pulled up but you couldn't hear anything you were just hanging there with a look of pure horror on your face. Finally Spiderman pulled you up to safety and as you got up you went to hug him still not fully registering that you were alive and Spiderman hugged you back.

(Time Skip to the bottom of the Washington Monument)

As you left the Washington Monument you were still in shock and couldn't believe that you made it out alive, but once you saw Peter standing there with a worried face that's when it got real. You started to run to him and when he saw you he ran towards you as well. As you two collided he embraced you in a hug and you hugged him back. You haven't cried yet because if the shock but in Peters arms you realised how close to death you were and started to sob in Peters arms.

"P..P....Pe..Peter" you sob

"shh Y/N it's ok I got you it's ok" Peter said rubbing your back soothingly. You continue to sob in his arms unable to pull yourself away from his comforting grip.

"Alright Team let's go back to the bus and go home" Mr.Thomas said

"Y/N come on we have to walk do you think you can do that for me" Peter said sweetly. At his statement you just sobbed harder. You didn't want Peter to let go.

"Alright then I'll just carry you to the bus" he said. Peter picked you up bridal style and carried you all the way to the bus. About half way there you stopped crying but were still choking on your own breath.

As you opened your eyes you noticed Peters tear stained shirt and you apologised

"it's alright I don't mind I'm just glad your safe" he said. As he approached the bus he put you down and let you get on first. you sat down towards the back of the bus where no  one else sat and started to silently cry. You didn't realise how much falling to your death scared you. As Peter got on he walked over to you and sat down.

"Hey don't cry your alright i'm here it's ok Y/N" Peter soothed. You looked up at him and he wiped away your tears and you hugged him.

"Th..thank y..you" you said

"for what" Peter replied.

"f..for always b..being there f..for m..me" you said.

"I will always be here for you Y/N" he replied. the two of you didn't say anything after that, and you cuddled up to Peter and he didn't seem to mind so you stayed and eventually fell asleep.

Ok so school is starting for me and that means that I won't be able to update as often but please bare with me because I'm going to try my hardest to upload ASAS.
