Luke's (POV)

"You wanna go first or should I?" I asked her, politely, making myself comfortable in front of her.

"You can go first."

"Ok...um...." I thought for a bit "Any siblings?"

"Nope, only child. You?"

"Yep. Three brothers. Age?"

"17, turning 18 in a few months. Um..." She thought for a few seconds.

"Why are you here, as in like why were you at my school?"

"Oh that. Our tour bus broke down. Favorite song?"

"The Silence by Mayday Parade. Your on tour?"

"Yea, I'm in a band called 5 Seconds of Summer or just 5SOS. Why is that your favorite song?"

"It's one of those songs that describes your life, and were those other 3 guys in the same band as you?"

"Yea, brunet is Calum, other blonde is Ashton and the crazy hair is Michael. Do you sing?"

"Oh um.. Yea I do. I'm not that great though. Where were you guys heading?"

"To Pasadena, near here, just a few miles away. We're actually on tour with One Direction." I said grinning trying to impress her because I'm on tour with One Direction. Every other girl would freak out but she doesn't. I stare at her she doesn't say anything.

"Do you know what time it is?" she asks

"Yea, um.. let me check" I pull my phone out of my pocket checking the time.
"It's 4:54. Do you have to be at home or..."

"No no no. I actually going to be late for something" she says panicking while getting up. She grabs her backpack and her skateboard and then just stands there in silence thinking for a few seconds.

Lola's (POV)

Oh shit! Mike is going to be pissed if I'm late again.

I got a bit to lazy to take my phone out of my backpack to check the time.

"Sorry but I have to go, but um will you still be here tomorrow or will you leave because of your tour?"

"Oh no, I'll be here just for a few weeks actually. We have a few shows in Pasadena."

"Oh ok. Then I'll see you tomorrow or um...." Not being able to find the right words to say but he ends it for me.

"I'll be at your school tomorrow at lunch to hang out, if you want?"

"Yea. I-" I get cut off by my phone buzzing. Fuck. Mikes name appears.
"Ok I'll see you tomorrow." I say quickly.
"Later"

"Later" I say back

"About time you showed up Lu." Mike says clearly annoyed.

"Sorry I was um.... busy"

"You know your a terrible lair?"

"Yea I know I am." I said smiling at him. He's the only person in the world that makes me smile. Mike has blonde buzz cut hair and of course has dimples. I've known him for a year and a half.

We asked the school permission if we could use the music room after school when no other students are here and it took them only a few days to say yes. I'm the singer and Mike is the tech nerd/Dj.

"Anyways today your recording 'When She Cries' and 'Say Please' ok"

"Yea, ok"

I enter the sound booth. It's not big nor it's small either. Putting on my head phones, I adjust them.

Giving Mike a thumbs up signaling that I'm ready.

Little girl terrified
She'll only leave her room if bruises would heal
Her home is no place to hide
Her heart is breaking from the pain that she feels

Ever days the same
She fights, to find her way
She hurts, she breaks
She hides and tries to pray
She wonders why
Does anyone hear her
When she cries?

Today shes turning 16
Everyone singing but she can't seem to smile
They never get past arm length
How could they a t like
Everything is alright
She's pulling down her long sleeves
To cover all the memories her scars leaves
She says 'Maybe making me bleed, would be the answer that could wash the slate clean'

I feel a tear run down my right cheek as I continue to sing.

Luke's (POV)

"Dude where were you?" The guys said in unison.

"I told you guys I was going somewhere."

"Oh. Was it that girl that we saw you staring at earlier?" Ashton says wiggling his eyebrows

"No" I lied. That just stared at me in disbelief.

"Ok maybe" I said looking away as I feel my cheeks burn.
