Vampire

The air was rushing around me and the ground was coming fast. I felt arms around me and when I hit the ground I didn't feel pain. I felt strong protective arms around me. I looked up at the person, no thing that saved me. He wasn't human.

"What are you?" I asked him, already knowing the answer. He was a vampire.

"I'm not going to hurt you. I promise. If anything I'm going to protect you."

"From what?"

There were a million questions going through my head but that was the first one that I needed to know the answer to.

"Anything that comes to be a threat to your life. Come back inside, I'll explain everything."

...........

We went up to his room and he told me everything( while showing off his strength, probably not meaning to, by cleaning up some of the room).

"How long have you been a vampire?"

"I've been eighteen since the Italian Renaissance."

That's how he knew so much.

"Did you kill Tanner?"

"No, I'm the good brother. I don't kill people."

"You have a brother?"

"Yes. His name is Damon. He is one of the people I have to protect you from. He's dangerous."

"I think I have already seen him."

"Okay, now it's your turn to explain."

"Can vampires shape shift?"

"Some are powerful enough. Damon probably is."

"I think I saw him in the form of a crow on the first day of school. He was there the night we were getting the measurements for the maze. I have a feeling that he killed Tanner. Someone walked in towards the room when I got everyone else out. They were dressed up like death."

"That sounds like Damon."

"What are we going to do, Stefan."

"I'm going to take you home and go find my brother."

After I dropped Elena off I drove to the woods. I barely entered them when I heard a familiar voice.

Hello brother

"Hello Damon. What are you doing here?"

I've come to make your life a living hell.

We started to fight and soon everything was black.
