Will I Live?

It was still dark when I heard Elena cry out.

"No!" she screamed.

I went over to her and she was asleep.

"Wake up Elena. It's just a dream." I said, shaking her gently. She opened her eyes and I put my arms around her. She buried her head in my chest and I just hugged her tighter. When she stopped crying I looked into her eyes and asked her what was wrong.

She told me about the dream and it seemed like Klaus was tormenting her again.

"Hey, it was just a dream. I'm right here next to you. Now you should go back to sleep. You need your rest. I love you."

"I love you too."

She laid her head down and was asleep in minutes. I had to figure out why this was happening.

"Excuse me. Mr.Salvatore. Can I talk to you?"

"Yeah. Is everything okay with Elena?"

"Yes. I wanted to tell you that she is well enough to go home. She can leave at noon."

"Thank you doc."

"No problem. I think you to make a really good couple."

"Thanks and she makes me happy."

"I can see you make her happy too."

"Thanks again doctor Fell."

"Your welcome."

I quietly went back in her room because I didn't know if she was still asleep. I looked at her bed and she wasn't there.

"Elena? Are you here?"

"In here. I'll be out in a few minutes."

She already knew.

"You know you are leaving today huh?"

"Yeah. I listened to your conversation."

..........

I loved her and was glad to see she was better. As soon as she could leave we did.

"Are you hungry? I know that you haven't had any decent food since the night in the woods."

"I am."

"You want me to make you something?"

"Actually can we just go home. I feel kinda tired."

"Okay."

I drove back to the boarding house and she was asleep by the time we got there. I carried her up my room and laid her on the bed. She looked so peaceful. The Angel I fell in love with.
