He will pay for this

When the police got there I left. I just needed to clear my head. I would get revenge. He killed my family. He killed Margaret. He wasn't going to get away with this.

"Hello Elena. I see you found my little surprise for you."

"Klaus. You will pay for this." I said turning around to face him.

"Will I? I think you will be the one to die."

"Not if I kill you."

"That's highly unlikely."

He grabbed me and started running. He stopped when we were in the heart of the woods.

"Before I kill you I want to get a taste of the blood that drives vampires crazy."

He brought his mouth to my neck and I felt his fangs pierce my throat. He drank a lot of my blood and I was barely able to keep my eyes open. When he pulled back his face was displaying horror. He collapsed on the ground and that's when I blacked out.

Stefan

I ran to find Elena. Klaus had her. When I found her she was lying unconscious on the forest floor and Klaus was next to her dead. He had blood running down his face and Elena had bite marks on her throat. That meant... The guardians were actually telling the truth.

Years ago I had traveled to the dark dimension to talk some sense into Damon and the guardians told me about a girl who's blood would kill any old one. It was Elena. That meant her parents or one of her parents had to be a guardian. I picked her up and took her back to campus so I could explain it all to her and break the news to Meredith, Bonnie and Matt.
