Can anything hide the pain?

I could see that not much could hide Elena's pain. The one thing that is worse for me to see is my kids in pain. Simon is fine but it's Jesse I'm worried about. She has been getting bullied and has been thinking about suicide. I could hear their thoughts.

Maybe I should do it. Maybe I'll end up with dad. I really miss you daddy.

"It's okay baby girl. I miss you too. Just stay strong."

I knew she couldn't hear me but it felt good to say it.

"Katherine I think there is something bothering Jesse. She hasn't been herself lately."

"Elena. She is a teenager. Maybe she has a crush on a guy."

"No. It didn't seem like that. It seemed like something bad was going on."

"I'll go talk to her."

" Katherine you don't have to now. You can while we are out."

"I'll go get her."

Stay strong Elena. I love you.

It's okay baby girl. I miss you too. Just stay strong.

"What was that?"

"Jesse. We are ready to go. Come on."

"Okay aunt Katherine."

I got up and went out to the car. Hopefully the accept that I'm fine.
