Dear diary
Will's body is made out of cancer. He might not make it. I can't believe that this is happening to me. What did I do to deserve this. At least Simon and Ally are happy.
Tears dropped onto the page and I set the pen down. There was a knock on the door and I thought it was Simon.
"Come in."
"Jessica. What's wrong?"
"Ally..."
She came over and sat on the floor next to me. She wrapped her arms around me and I let the tears come. When I couldn't cry anymore she pulled back and asked me what's wrong.
"Will has cancer. Throughout his whole body. They're taking him off life support."
"Oh Jessica I'm so sorry."
"Jess phone!"
We got up and walked downstairs. Simon was standing at the bottom holding out the phone. I took it weakly and Simon didn't leave.
"Hello?"
"Hello Jesse."
"Will. Hi I love you."
"I love you too. I already know about what's going to happen to me. I needed to talk to you before I die."
"What is it, Will?"
"I know that oblivion is inevitable and that I am going to die but it was an amazing life just because I got to be with you. Please don't do anything rash. Just remember me for who I was and that I love you no matter what happens. Okay?"
"Okay."
"I have a favor to ask of you."
"What is it?"
"Will you write my eulogy. It would mean a lot. They are letting me out of the hospital for a little bit and I want to attend my funeral. Do you think you can make your way down to the church in the next half hour?"
"Yes. I will."
It didn't take long to write his eulogy because a lot of my memories of us were right there. After that I made my way down to the church. When I got there it looked as if it really were a funeral.
