Till Death Do Part Us

The bright lights and smell of antibiotics was too much for me. It was also the smell of blood was intense. Normally I would be fine but I just got her back and she slipping away again. Damn it. She cannot be gone again. No one remembers that she was dead because Damon compelled the entire town. Again. Her aunt Judith, Uncle Robert(yes they got married) and Margaret were there. Margaret was sitting on Bonnie's lap and Robert was comforting Judith. I walked out to the courtyard and sat down. I knew that I couldn't help her because I had no idea what happened. She couldn't die. I felt tears roll down my face and I let them come. I never noticed that there was someone sitting beside me.

"Hello mate. What's the matter?"

"I just got the love of my life back. I can't bear to lose her again."

"That sucks mate. I'm Kohl Michaelson."

"Your related to Klaus."

"Sadly. He was killed last night. I came to see my siblings. Rebecca Finn and Elijah."

"I'm Stefan."

"Kohl!!"

"Sorry mate. Got to go see what my sister wants. It'll get better."

"Thanks. Bye."

I went back upstairs and I saw Judith crying.

"What happened?"

"She's getting better Stefan. These are tears of joy."

"Can I go see her?"

"Yes. She was asking for you. Room 203."

Thanks. You should go home and get some sleep. I'll stay."

"Stefan it's okay. You have done enough to help. Go home and get some sleep."

"I'm fine Judith. You have been here all day. I can stay."

"Alright fine."

I nodded and started walking towards her room. I walked in and she was awake.

"Hey beautiful. How you feeling?"

"Yeah now that I can see you. I don't even know what happened."

"Your back and getting better."

"I love you."

"I love you too," I said as I placed a kiss on her lips.

"I want to go home with you."

"I promise you will once you get better."

"Promise?"

"How about I promise that we will have our own sleepover when you get out of here."

"Deal."

I had no idea what happened in the woods that night. I couldn't remember much. I remember being in Stefan's arms and then nothing. I saw Judith, Margaret and Robert first. The last person I saw was Stefan.

"Hey beautiful."

"Hi. What happened in the woods? I can't remember anything."

"We're not sure but your back and that's what matters."

"I want to go home with you."

"I promise you can once you are better."

"Promise?"

"How about when you get out of here we can have a sleepover. Just the two of us. I promise."

"Okay. I love you."

"I love you too baby. You need your rest. Go to sleep."

I closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep.
