Chapter four I'm in love

Wes's pov
Me and Mari are still at the lake and it's getting late.
"Mari" I say but she doesn't respond.
"Mari" I say a bit louder but she still doesn't respond.
I hear her steady breathing and I realise she's asleep.
I carefully move her off my chest, pick her up bridal style and stand up.
I carry her down the path, back to the car and when I reach the car, I unlock it and carefully place Mari in the passenger seat then walk over to the drivers' side, get in and start the car.
When we're about three minutes away from the college, Mari starts groaning, signalling that she's waking up.

Mari's pov
I feel very tired but also feel the need to wake up.
I open my eyes to see I'm in a car with street lights flashing as the car drives past them.
"Hey, glad you're awake" I hear a voice on my left, look over to see Wes glancing at me then the road.
"Hey, where are we going" I ask him as I stretch my arms.
"Back to the campus" He replies.
"Oh. I was hoping to stay at the lake for a bit longer" I say, a little disappointed.
Wes laughs.
"What?" I ask him, starting to smile.
"Mari you fell asleep and I had to carry you back to the car" He explains, still laughing.
"Well I will admit that I was tired" I laugh.
"Well the next time we get free time, we can go back" Wes tells me, making me excited.
We then get back to the campus and Wes parks up.
We get out the car and walk hand in hand to the grass, at the grass we face each other and look into each others eyes and lean in for a kiss.
After the kiss we put our foreheads together and smile.
"I had a great time tonight" I admit.
"Me too because I spent it with you" Wes replies, making me giggle and blush.
"Before we go I want to give you my number" I tell him and get my phone out.
"Ok" He says and gets his phone out.
"Text me" I smile, after giving him my number.
"I will" Wes smiles back.
I give him another kiss and we go our separate ways to our dorms.
I get to my dorm, open the door, step inside, close the door and slide down the door, sighing and smiling.
"Someone's in a good mood" I hear Boze comment.
I didn't notice her sat on her bed with her laptop so she surprised me.
"Where you been all day?" She asks.
"Uh" I hesitate to answer.
"Dude you can tell me. I won't judge" She says.
"I went out for coffee and to a beautiful lake with a guy I met yesterday" I tell her, rubbing the back of my neck, embarrassed.
"Ooo you went on a date?" She smiles.
"I don't know if it was a date but we kissed a couple of times" I explain, shrugging.
Boze jumps off her bed and hugs me.
"Aw! That's so cute!" She exclaims.
"Sh! You'll wake the neighbours" I tell her but she just smiles.
We then sit down on our beds.
"So, what's this guys name?" Boze asks.
"Wes" I answer, smiling.
"What's he like?"
"He's really sweet and handsome, he's also like a big kid because he likes a lot of sweets, he's a gamer like me and just overall the sweetest and nicest guy I've ever met" I explain, feeling my heart speed up just thinking about him.
"Aw. Do you love him?" She asks.
"I think I do" I tell her, honestly.
I think I am in love with Wes and thinking back to what he told me at the lake I think he feels the same way.
