What happens in College

Chapter seven Stronger love

Mari's pov
I wake up with bad headache, it feels like knives are being stabbed into my head.
I suddenly feel nauseous and get out of bed, to try to find the bathroom but there isn't one.
I then notice that I'm not in my dorm room but the puke is still with me.
I run to a window, open it and puke outside.
When I finish puking, I wipe my mouth and rub my eyes to wake up more.
I then look down at myself to find that I'm naked.
I'm panicking at this point and look around the room to find my clothes that I wore last night, scattered on the floor.
I suddenly remember the events of last night.
There was a college party and I went on my own because Boze had to work on a presentation, and when I got to the party Wes greeted me and we started drinking then dancing, then entered some drinking contests and all I remember after that is making out with Wes and taking our clothes off in this room.
I hear groaning coming from the other side of the room and see Wes in the bed, moving around.
I quickly pick up my bra and underwear and put them on.
I look back to Wes to see him sitting up and rubbing his head in pain.
We both must have painful hangovers.
He then rubs his eyes to wake up a bit more and looks up.
"Hey Wes" I say, weakly.
Wes then snaps his gaze towards me, widening his eyes.
"Mari?" He replies, shocked.
I avoid eye contact and look at the floor.
I can just about see Wes look down at himself to realise he's naked.
I look back up at him.
"Do you remember what happened last night?" I ask him to see if he remembers because I do.
"Yeah, I..I remember the party and..and..and drinking and dancing and..." He stutters.
I go over to the bed and sit on the side I was sleeping on.
"Wes baby, please be honest with me. Do you think it was a mistake? Because I don't. I think this is the next step and strengthened the love" I tell him, honestly.
Wes then looks at me and stares into my eyes for a good two minutes then moves closer to me and kisses me passionately.
Seven minutes later we pull away and put our foreheads together.
"I think it was a good thing" Wes tells me.
I can tell he's not lying and smile.
We put last night's clothes back on and leave the party house to go get some food and coffee or anything that can help our hangovers.
I just get a sandwich and water while Wes gets a few chocolate chip cookies and a chocolate milkshake.
Sit, eat and talk for nearly an hour and we decide to go to the beautiful lake to chill out and relax.
I'm excited to go back because it'll be my fourth time going.
Wes takes me up there when I've had a stressful day in class and staring at the lake is calming and romantic, especially at sunset.
We arrive at the lake and sit next to the tree, close to the water.
After about ten minutes I decide to do something different.
I take of my shoes and stand up.
"What're you doing?" Wes asks me, curious.
I motion for him to stand up and he does.
I tell him to take off his jacket and shoes and he does.
I then start running along side the lake, laughing and Wes chases after me, laughing too.
He then catches up to me and wraps his arms around me and we spin around.
We then stop and I notice Wes has his back to the water so I use this as an opportunity.
I kiss him to catch him off guard and put my hands on his chest then push him.
He falls backwards into the lake. (It's not deep and they're at the shallow part of the lake)
I laugh at the now soaking wet Wes as he glares at me.
I'm laughing so hard that I mistakenly turn around, then feel a pair of wet arms wrap around my waist then the next thing I know, I'm in the cold water, soaking wet.
Wes laughs at me and I glare at him.
"Revenge" He chuckles, shrugging his shoulders.
I eventually smile and laugh along with him and splash water at him and he does it back.
We then get out the water and stand in the sun to dry a bit.
After four hours the sun starts going down.
We watch a bit of the sun set then head to the car and drive back to the campus.
We kiss and say goodnight then head to our dorms.
I had a great time last night and today.
But let's get through the boring part before we have more fun.
