Chapter twenty eight Daniel

Wes's pov
It's been eight months since the summer games and we've even done the first annual Smosh Winter Games and I'll never forget when we went on Put it in my mouth, and ate snow cones coated in hot sauce! It was painful!
*Flashback*
I'm on Noah's show which is called Put it in my mouth with Sohinki and everyone else is stood around the kitchen watching us.
I keep making eye contact with Mari who's stood with Jenny.
Mari's belly has gotten big. Probably because there's a baby in there.
We'll be eating snow cones.
Courtney comes over with three snow cones for us, then when she's set them down, she walks away.
I'm ready to add some cherry flavour to my snow cone but the producers stop me.
"But wait! There's more!" They shout.
I get excited, thinking that there's more flavours but I'm wrong.
Courtney comes back with a tray of three different types of hot sauce.
We talk about the worst and not so bad hot sauces and read some facts then add the first hot sauce to the snow cones.
We get ready to bite into the ice, when Mari comes over with a snow cone in hand.
"Sorry guys, can I join you? I know I'm not in this episode but I wanna join in" She says, standing next to me.
"Are you sure you can handle the spice?" Sohinki asks her as adds the hot sauce to her snow cone.
"Yeah, I should handle it. I've been having cravings for spice anyway" She replies.
I hope she's right.
We then all bite into the ice and I can just taste the hot sauce and it's not that bad.
Mari and Sohinki don't seem affected by it but Noah doesn't seem to like it.
We then decide to add flavours.
I get cherry, Sohinki gets blue raspberry, Noah gets lemonade and Mari gets orange.
Then we move on to the second one.
Courtney gives us more snow cones and we add the hot sauce.
We take bites and it's not even hot.
"Why does this taste like orange?" I ask.
"I know. But it's nice" Mari replies, still eating.
I throw mine away and put my hand on Mari's stomach and rub it while she enjoys her snow cone.
The others throw theirs away and Courtney brings more snow cones.
We add the final hot sauce which is supposedly the hottest.
I know Mari's craving spicy food but I feel this might be way too hot for her and the baby.
"Mari I actually think you should skip this one" I tell her.
"Why? It can't be that hot. Is it?" She asks Sohinki.
"I'm pretty sure that this is so hot, it feels like it's burning right through your stomach" He replies.
"Ok but I'm making a mixture of Sriracha and tabasco" She says, adding both hot sauces to her snow cone.
Me, Noah and Sohinki eat our very hot snow cones and it's so painful!
I feel like it's burning through my tongue.
"HOT" I exclaim, over and over again.
Make the burning stop!
*Flashback*
I was in so much pain.
We also haven't seen Peter since he disturbed our fun at the summer games.
Jenny's best friend Katie has also been coming over to our house and had a couple of sleepovers.
Mari is now nine months pregnant and due next week.
Also it's a boy!
Jenny wanted a sister but she finally warmed up to the idea of having a brother.
Today I'm going to a dance studio with Sohinki and Flitz for a bonus video.
Jenny's at Mari's parents house for the weekend and since I'll be working, Mari's coming to the office so Joven looks after her.
I didn't want to leave her alone when she's so close to birth.
We're ready to go, so I say bye to Mari, kiss her and get in the car and we drive away.

Joven's pov
Wes has trusted me to look after his pregnant wife, so that's what I'm doing.
I help her stand up when she needs to, I get her food and drinks and make sure she's comfortable.
I let her rest while I try learning how to play Super Smash Bros without raging. And let me tell you, it's really hard.
I try jumping a cliff when suddenly I hear groaning.
I pause the game and spin my chair around to see Mari, holding her stomach with a pained expression on her face.
"Mari? You ok" I ask, worried.
She takes a deep breath and looks at me.
"Yeah Jovie, I'm ok" She replies but she looks unsure.
I watch her for a few minutes and when I think nothing's wrong and continue my game, she groans in pain, louder than last time and tries to stand up but falls to her knees, clutching her big belly.
I immediately jump up and rush over to her.
"Joven. I...I think I need to go to the hospital! I think the baby's coming!" She cries.
I'm panicking so much but I need to help my friend so I help her stand up and lead her out the Smosh games room.
As we walk through the building to get to the exit, the Smosh Squad see us and rush over.
"Hey what's going on here?" Shayne asks.
Courtney and Olivia tend to Mari.
"Mari? You ok?" They ask her.
"I'm getting her to the hospital. It might be time" I inform them.
They immediately understand what I mean.
"Ok! You take her to the hospital. We'll call Wes and meet you there" Olivia says.
I agree and continue helping Mari while they run the director's office.
I get Mari in my car and take her to the hospital.
