Mari's pov It's been two months since I left college and I'm now five months pregnant. My belly has really grown but Wes isn't here to witness it with me. I moved back in with my parents and told them my situation, they were disappointed with me and it really made me upset but they apologised and said that they are here for me. I'm on my way to the doctors for another ultrasound and to find out the gender of the baby. I walk down the hallway to the room and greet the doctor. She asks me a few questions and tells me to lie down while she gets the scanner ready. I wish Wes was here with me, this is a time he should be here.
Wes's pov Two months, that's how long it's been. I'm very miserable without Mari and I really hope she's ok. A few weeks ago Joven and I talked and he's stopped acting like an asshole and we're good again. *Flashback* I was laying on my bed, on my phone, looking at pictures of Mari and me at the lake. Suddenly Joven comes into the dorm. "Look man, you really look like you need someone to talk to so I'm here to talk" He states, sitting on his bed. "Yeah? About what?" I question him, not really wanting to talk. "You've been like this for a month. Come on man, talk to me, what's wrong?" He asks, calmly. I sigh and sit up. "You remember the girl I've been with?" I ask. He nods and I continue. "She's...gone. She left" I say, sadly. "Why?" "I don't know" I lie, not wanting to tell him the real reason. "I'm sorry Wes, you two seemed like you were really close" Joven adds. "Yeah, we were" I mutter to myself. "Hey Wes, I also wanted to apologise for the way I've been acting recently" He explains. "It's fine Joven" I reply, smiling. "So we cool?" He asks, holding up his hand for a high five. "Yeah" I say and high five him. *Flashback* So yeah, we made up and been hanging out, no more arguing. Joven just left to go study in the library and I'm just watching TV. I suddenly get a text and turn off the TV and check my phone. It's from Mari. My Love: Hey. Just in case you're still interested.

My Love: Here's our little girl😙. I smile and feel tears of joy form in my eyes. It's a girl. We're having a little girl! I'm so happy! I've decided that I'm not staying here anymore. I have to get to Mari. I pack all my things and put them in my car. I leave a note for Joven and drive to Mari's. I'm coming baby!
Joven's pov I get back to the dorm room and open the door. "Hey Wes! You won't believe..." I stop when I see Wes not in the room, in fact all his stuff is gone. Where is he? I feel sadness start to wash over me and spot a note on his bed. I pick it up and read it.
Dear Joven By the time you read this I'll be on the road to my future. I'm sorry for my sudden disappearance but something has come up. That girl who I was always with and dating, she needs me and I need her. And I just want you to know, you're a great guy, roommate, friend and brother. One day if I see you again, I'll explain everything. But goodbye for now Joshua Ovenshire. From Wes. What does this mean?
Mari's pov I go downstairs to get some breakfast. I'm in the mood for chilli but I just get a leftover fruit salad. After eating a few slices of orange and kiwi, I hear a knock at the door. I go to the door and open it. "Wes?" I question in shock. Wes is stood at my door with a wide smile on his face. "Hi Mari" He greets. "You came. You actually came!" I exclaim, excitedly. I wrap my arms around him and he does the same to me. "Of course I came" He whispers. I'm so happy he's here. We pull away from the hug and kiss. I've missed him so much. I pull away from the kiss, smiling with tears of joy in my eyes. "I really missed you" I tell him. "I missed you too" He replies and we kiss again. We can finally have our little family. We pull away from the kiss and put our foreheads together. Wes's hands move down to my bump and we stay like that for about five minutes. I let him inside and I tell my parents about Wes. They were a bit unsure of him at first but then they warmed up to him and welcomed him. Life is good.
