Adrianna's pov
While laying at home and waiting for my family to come home,I reflected back to how we came about moving.
I was out taking a stroll-my best thing-when I got a call.
Ring!
I pulled out my phone from my pocket and the caller Id told me it was my mom.
"Hey mom"I said into the phone out of breath.
"Hello darling,where are you?"
"Taking a stroll as usual"
"Sweetie please come home,I have some good news"she sounded really excited and I had a feeling it had something to do with work.
"Okay mom,see you in a bit"
10 mins later
"I'm home"
"Sweetie call your siblings,so we can tell you guys the good news"she said sorting next to my dad.
When my siblings and I were down,my mom started:
"Your dad just got a new appointment as the head of geologists in California,so we are leaving Florida in two weeks,it's just 4 hours by air to California.
I actually told my bank about it and I was given a reference letter to get a job over there.what do you guys say?"
Well i wasn't a entirely wrong it had something to do with work but I didn't see the moving coming with it.
"Seriously mom do we have move??"
"My dear this is a great opportunity for us.."my dad started.
I didn't want to listen so I just excused myself.
Honestly,we have been moving since I was little.We moved From Georgia to France,France to Dubai,Dubai to Florida and we have been in florida over 6 years.
Florida is where I know as home,it's where I made my friends,it's where I'm used to.
My parents said after Florida we weren't moving anywhere else but now here we are about to move houses.
Florida is Home.My real home.
I learnt loads of things there.
Now i have to switch schools,make new friends,new church,new environment.Seriously?
Two more years before I go to college.
I never made any plan to switch school.
Cervantes Academy has been my school since I was 11.
Two weeks later,despite all the pleadings from my siblings and I we still left.
With my mom saying and I quote"my darlings it will be okay,it doesn't hurt to live a new life,change is the only constant thing.let's accept this well.its for the best"blah blah blah blah blah....
