Mixed Emotions

Chapter 30

Adrianna's pov

It was already two days since I found out about Chloe and my brother.

Don't get me wrong I wasn't mad at the fact that they were together who wouldn't want their brother to have an  amazing partner? A stone hearted person right? Well i was just mad at the fact that they didn't tell me.

I was always asking Andreas and all he ever said was you'll find out soon.

My anger was directed at the fact that I wasn't told anything. Chloe kept calling since and I didn't pick. I'm taking it too far right but I'm upset.

The kids have gone to school, Willy is to pick them up after school. I was at home working on a client's case. It was 1pm already meaning the kids will be back in less than two hours.

Willy is on a month's leave but he still checks up on the patients every now and then.Kyle well he's been really busy with work. Sandra travelled east to see her family.

Talking about family, I miss mine a lot. I haven't spoken to my mother in 8 years but I talked to my dad two months ago.

My little sister Anna is still upset with me for leaving home. Talking about Anna, she's coming over soon. Andreas is to pick her up from the airport later in the evening.

I really can't wait to see her. The twins have spoken to her severally through video call.

I really miss my dad and not surprisingly my mom. I hope one that I can have a happy family reunion with them.

Seeing  that it was almost time for the kids to get home, I entered the kitchen to prepare lunch for them I decided on spaghetti bolognese.

I really love cooking.
I checked the freezer and I was short of minced meat so I substituted with small cut beef.

I made the Bolognese sauce, boiled the spaghetti, mixed both and put on the fire. shortly, it was ready. I fried some more meat I washed up and set the table in anticipation of their arrival.

Minutes later

"Mummy we're home"

"Mummy,mummy wake up"

I awaken by the constant gentle nudging I was getting.

Oh no I fell asleep on the couch.

"Hey babies, how are you"

"Fine" "Fine" they replied.

"Hey Willy"

"Hi"

"When did you all get here"

"About 10 minutes ago,  I told them to just let you sleep but they didn't". Willy said.

"Awww, thanks".

"Mummy, we're hungry".

"Mummy already made lunch, so you two go up now give your dresses and mummy will be up soon to help you wash up, come on come on off to go" I said nudging them towards the stairs.

I turned to face Willy

"Are you staying for lunch?"

"No I'm not I have to see someone in 20 minutes".

"Oh alright but will you come over for dinner?"

"Adrianna I'm sorry but I don't think i can make it"

Who else finds that statement of his weird? Willy just called me Adrianna! He always calls me 'princess' or 'Adrie' I mean he just called me Adrianna.

"I was hoping you would come for at least dinner, my sister will be here soon".

"Your sister?  You mean Anna?"he asked.

"Yes Anna. Andreas is to pick her up from the airport. They should be any minute from now" I replied smiling.

"I'll try and see if I can come back later otherwise that will be until tomorrow, you're taking the kids to school tomorrow right?"

"Oh yes, bye for now".

Talking about kids, they are upstairs right now waiting for me.

"Bye Adrianna, later" Willy said walking out of the door.

Did you hear that? He did it again.

Willy's pov
It was nice of Adrianna to invite me to stay for lunch and even dinner.

I really wanted to stay. Sincerely I have no where important to go. I'll maybe come later for dinner I would really love to see Anna again. It's been years I saw that girl wow she'll be so big now.she was a cute crazy thing back then and I know she always called me "hottie hottie".

As I drove my tummy grumbled, I was actually hungry but I just didn't want to sit it while at Adrianna's place.

Well i guess I just have to stop at a restaurant before going home.

Adrianna's pov

As Willy left, I went up to the room to see the kids sitting on the bed waiting for me.

"Sorry I took so long, I was talking to your daddy, now to the bathroom you two".

Shortly after they are done having their bath and wore some clothes.  We went downstairs for them to eat.
"Mummy, the aroma of the food is really nice" Ivy said smiling.

"Mummy your meals are always delicious even daddy love them" Iris also said.

"Hmm, really.Alright enjoy your meal".

While they were eating I heard a knock on the door, I went and opened the door.

Standing there looking so beautiful and all grown up was my baby sister Anna.

"Omg! Anna!" I screamed.

She stood looking at me.

"Sweetie I'm sorry, please forgive me" I said to her knowing she was upset with me.

"We'll settle all differences later.Right now I'm excited to see you too big sister"she said jumping into my hands.

"Come in, please" I said stepping out of the way for her to come in.

"Hey cuties". She said walking up to the dining upon seeing Ivy and Iris.

"Aunty Anna!" They both screamed.

I smiled and looked at Andreas.
