Mixed Emotions

chapter 21.

Willy's pov.

Every single time I think of Adrie,I get mad at myself for ever hurting her.I feel really bad that she suffered so much because of my stupidity.I really want to be a part of her life and that of my kids you know like a family.

My kids don't even know me,I want to have time with them,play with them,but then stuffs,watch tv with them and every other thing.

I'll just talk to Adrie and see if she'll agree to the kiss knowing me as their dad.

It's been three days since she was here and  slapped me hard twice.well I guess it's worth it and I deserve more than that.

I decided to go and see her and I picked up my car keys and drove out.

Her place is a 40 minutes drive from where I stay.

I got to the door,knocked and waited ,few minutes later she opened the door and stood there looking at me.

she looked so beautiful wearing a short and a low cut blouse,damn she's hot.

Almost immediately she attempted to slam the door in my face but I stuck my foot outand stopped the door.

out of frustration she walked inside and I followed.

"Adrie I'm sorry I came unannounced"

"You're sorry for a lot of things"she replied.

"I brought these flowers for you"I extended my arm to give he the flowers I bought on my way here.

"Oh how nice of you Willy,but I don't need them".

"Its fine,I'll just drop them over here"I said dropping it on the table.

"So what do you want now?"

"Please first sit and let's talk like two matured cultured people"

"I'm going to warn you again,stop offering me seat in my own house its the other way round"she said pointing at me disapprovingly but nonetheless sat down.

"Adrie I just want to beg to know my kids,I want them to know I'm their daddy and I love them so much and I really want to be part of your and their lives".

"Part of whose lives??"

"Adrie please I know I have offended you but please think of the kids"

"You don't deserve to be part of any body's life,so just respect yourself and leave my house"

"Really Adrianna? How long will you treat me like this?can't I even be a part of their lives?"

"So what do I tell them?oh Iris and Ivy this man right here is your daddy..."

"Our daddy?"the two girls screamed looking at us both.we didn't know when they entered the room and they heard Adrianna say I'm their dad.

Adrianna pov

Oh no oh no

I didnt even know the kids had entered now they've heard me.

"Mom??"ivy asked waiting for clarity.

Everything in me was telling me to tell them Willy wasn't their dad but I found myself saying
"Yes sweeties this is your dad, his name is Willy"

Note to self speak what's in your mind not what your mouth says.

"Mummy"Iris said with excitement in her voice

"Yea"

"Daddy has come like you promised"they both said smiling and running up to meet Willy.

He looked so happy and hugged them both.

"What took you so long to come,daddy" Iris asked.

"I'm sorry my princesses,daddy did something really bad to mummy and mummy is really angry at him,so daddy didn't have the courage to come sooner,I'm sorry but I'm here now".

I just looked at them and couldn't help the tears that started falling. They looked so happy.

I stifled my cry
"Iris and Ivy,please mummy wants to talk to your daddy,you can see him later"

They kids broke away from the hug and ran inside.

"What do they mean by I came as you promised?"

**Flash back**
Three years earlier

As Adrie was putting the kids to bed,Ivy spoke
"Mummy,what of daddy?when there's a mummy there is a daddy too,one of  our friends said her daddy usually tucks her in bed at night".
This was the moment Adrie had been scared of because she didn't know what she'll tell them if they asked about their dad

Her heart broke hearing her daughter ask her that question and she starting crying

"Did I say something wrong mummy?I'm sorry mummy"Ivy said reaching out to hug her together with iris.

"No baby you didn't say anything wrong and as for your daddy he'll come soon,he'll find us all and he'll tuck you in to bed,you'll play with him and have fun".

"When"both girls asked.

"Very soon my princesses,I promise you daddy will come".

"Goodnight mummy"

"Goodnight Ivy"

"Nyt nyt mum"

"Nyt nyt Iris"

She kissed them good night and went out"

**end of flashback**
Present time

General pov

Adrianna shook her head from the memory
"I just told them they will see you one day"she replied avoiding his gaze.

"Can i please stay a little longer and play with them??"

"Sure of course,my darlings come and play with daddy".

"Thank you"Willy mouthed to her as the kids came running to him,she nodded and turned to go inside.

"So you have a lot to tell me princesses,fill daddy in..."

Adrianna stood at the door and looked at them chattering and once again another tear found it's way out of her eyes and rolled down caressing her cheek.
