Chapter 26

8 years earlier.

It was a bright morning,Adrianna had just woken up and was laying on the bed.she was 5 months gone already and her baby bump was showing so well.

"Good morning my pumpkin"her grandma said walking into the room carrying a tray full of breakfast.

"Morning grandma,hope you slept well"

"I sure did dear,how are you?"

"I'm doing great"

"This is breakfast for you,you got to eat healthy for my grand kid"

"Grandma you'll make me grow way too big"Adrianna exclaimed.

"Come on you need it,so now eat up and don't complain".

"Thank you grandma I don't know what I'll do without you".

"Oh come here my dear"she said pulling her into a hug and running her back.

Later in the day

"Adrianna sweetie,put on something and come over here we are going to the park"grandma shouted.

"I'm coming right now".

"Look how pretty you are,the baby is making you even more pretty".

"Grandma please stop,I know youre saying that to make me feel better.whereas you and I know that I look like an overstuffed bag of rice".Adrianna said laughing.

"Well that makes you edible,remind me to cook you and have for dinner"grandma replied equally laughing.

"Enough you too,get going already before I change my mind about being left all alone in the house"grandpa said.

"Grandpa,I didn't see you,when did you come in?"Adrianna said walking towards him and hugging him.

"Last night dearie,and your grandma is right you sure look very pretty".

"And grandma didn't tell me anything,thanks for the compliment grandpa,we'll be on our way now".

While in the park sitting and talking with her grandma,Adrianna spotted a familiar figure some distance away from her and she could feel her heart beating fast not knowing whether it was out of fear or excitement of seeing him,she quickly picked up a newspaper lying by her and convered her face.

"What is it pumpkin"

"Grandma we need to get out of here".

"Why,who did you see?"

"I'll tell you later,but right now we need to leave".

"Okay come this way"

They bent and slowly ran out through the other side.when they got to where the car was parked,they quickly entered and drove away.Adrianna let out a sigh of relief.she turned to see her grandma staring at her with a questioning face.

"What grandma?"

"Who were we running from?"

"Him"she said and looked away.

"Him who?"

"Him Willy".

"Wait what?you mean The Willy was there?".

"Yes the Willy who ruined my life was there and he was looking around as if searching for some one,I couldn't take chances".

"Wow,how did he know you're here?"

"Well that's if he was looking for me and if he was,too bad because he'll not find me in more than 5 years to come, if it means me hiding in a hole I'll do just that".

"Hmm.if you say so".

Present day

Adrianna sat in the park waiting for the kids as they played,she remembered the day when Willy almost saw her if she hadn't dodged.she smiled faintly at the memory.

"Mummy, mummy"iris said running towards her.

"What is it baby"

"Ivy fell and she's injured".

"Oh no,where is she?"she said standing up.

"Over there"Iris replied pointing and Adrianna grabbed her hand and they ran towards the place.

Her heart sank as she saw Ivy sitting on the floor with blood on the floor, she had kicked a stone and fell hitting her leg on a wood as she tried standing up, a nail in the wood tore through her skin and she fell back.

"My princess,sorry my love,don't worry you'll be alright okay?"

"Mummy should I call daddy"Iris

"I'll do that later, let's get to the hospital first"she said as she bent down and scooped Ivy in her hands off the floor  and rushed to the car.She placed her at the back seat and sped off to the hospital.

Twenty minutes later she was by the desk of the nurse pacing up and down.she was yet to hear anything from the doctor.

God please let her be okay.

She prayed silently.

"How's my daughter doing?"she heard a voice bark from behind her.She turned and saw willy.How on earth did he get here??

"I asked you a question"Willy barked again.

"Could you please stop shouting?I don't know how she is, I'm waiting for the doctor and besides how did you know we were here?".

"Oh how did I know?I see you weren't even planning on letting me know.Well iris called me with your phone and told me everything".

"It's not like I didn't want to tell you,i was just tensed alright?besides I was worried about my daughter".

"From what I heard,you were in the park with them, how them did she get injured under your watchful eyes?".

"Willy please,I beg you, I'm not in the mood for this question and answer session with you".

"Well you know what you're a terrible mother!you can't even take care of my daughter".

"Willy!!!don't you dare talk to me that way.You have no right to criticise my being a mother to the twins".

"Well too bad that you're not just terrible at sex, you're also terrible in taking care of the kids, what exactly are you good at huh?".

Oh no Willy what is wrong with you!!!get a grip man.

Without wasting time, Adrianna moved her hand and caught him by surprise as she slapped him hard across the face as soon as he had spoken.He felt a sharp pain on his cheek, he didn't even see her hand.

"At least I'm good at hiding idiot"she said as she furiously left where he was standing and walked away.

Sorry this chapter is terrible it's just a filler😢😢.

Willy is being such a jerk.He's looking for my trouble😢😢😢😢.
