Westchester, New York. It was a big countryside. There were huge houses and mansions everywhere. Logan knew people that lived here?! Who were these people and how did they know Logan?

"We'll be there soon Kiddo," Logan said.

"How soon do you think we'll be there?"

"Few minutes at most."

"No offense Logan but, how in the world do you know people that live in places like this?" I pointed at the mansions.

He chuckled with a smile on his face, "I'll explain when we get there I promise."

A few minutes later, we were in front of a huge gate that stood in front of a giant mansion. It was more like a castle with brown bricks, pointed spires, and with scattered trees here and there around it. I don't know why but it seems welcoming to me, like I belong here; like my mind knew I wanted it before the rest of myself did. While I was thinking I didn't notice that the gate had opened for me and Logan. On our way in, we passed a basketball court and a playground. These people must have kids, I thought.

Logan turned to me and asked, "Ready?"

"As I'll ever be I guess."

We went into the mansion and it was beautiful, not to mention HUGE! There was a staircase at the end of the hall we walked down. An African American woman with stark-white hair walked down the stairs. She smiled a big, beautiful smile and said, "Logan!" Logan went over and they hugged. "It's so great to see you! And who is your friend here?"

"Storm, it's good to see you too! This is my daughter, Lily." Daughter. There it was again. I kinda spaced off a bit and then Logan snapped me out of it. "Hey. Lily, you awake in there?"

I grinned, "Ya. Hi, nice to meet you Storm."

We shook hands and she smiled and said, "Nice to meet you too Lily. Wow, you look an awful lot like your father you know!"

"Ya I get that a lot," I replied.

Then we stood there in awkward silence for about a minute before Storm said, "Well, I bet the Professor's about done with his class, so I'll take you to him."

We went to an elevator and went up about three levels. When we got out of the elevator, we went down a few different hallways before we got to a big set of double doors. Storm knocked on the door with a few soft thuds. The knocks were followed by a British voice saying, "You may come in."

The room was an office and in the office was a large, dark wooden desk and behind it sat a bald man, which I assumed belonged to the British voice we heard through the door. In front of the desk however, were kids that looked around my age. A brown haired skinny girl, a red haired girl with glasses, a boy that had shaggy, dark brown hair, and another boy that was blue, like completely blue, and had golden eyes! The man was talking to the kids about homework and then let them leave. The blue boy left first and just went out the door, but I barely even had time to see the red haired girl get up, let alone leave and shut the door, the brown haired girl went through the door, ya, through it, and the other boy talked to the man more then turned around really fast and tripped on a chair in between us, knocking both of us over. I landed flat on my back with him on top of me.

He definitely weighed more than he looked. "Ow," I said and I could feel my cheeks getting redder by the second.

I saw his ears start to turn red too and he said, "I'm so sorry, I didn't know you were behind me, I didn't mean to, really, I'm so clumsy, I should probably just stop talking and get off of you, right?"

I laughed. It hurt when he fell on me but his rambling was kind of funny. "Ya I think that might be better!" He stood up and helped me up.

He stuck his hand out again and said,"Hi, my name's Derek."

I noticed he had really nice greenish, brown eyes. I laughed again, shook, his hand and replied, "Lily, nice to meet you Derek!" Both of us then noticed that everyone else in the room was staring at us.

Logan just laughed a little and Derek said, "Well, I'll see ya around I guess. Bye Professor."

The Man, the Professor, replied and waved, "Good day, Derek."

Derek waved bye to me and I waved back; I could feel a stupid grin on my face, I turned around and the Professor said, "Well Lily, my name is Dr. Charles Xavier." He came out from behind the desk in a wheelchair that he wasn't even pushing he wasn't using one of those fancy wheelchairs with controllers either. Was he doing that with his mind? Is he like me? "I'd like to welcome you to Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters, or as you may better know them, mutants.
