"A school for mutants?" I questioned. I was confused. Why had Logan never told me about this.
"Precisely. We teach the children here both regular education and how to use their powers for good. We teach them not to be afraid of themselves and what they can do but to embrace it."
"That's amazing! I had no idea there were others like me other than Logan. Logan, why didn't you tell me about this place?"
The professor answered of him, "Because this is exactly were Victor would be able to find you. Logan, Storm, would you give me a moment alone with Lily?"
Storm and Logan nodded and left, shutting the door behind them.
"Thank you," the Professor said. "So, Lily, what do you think, the idea of the school?"
"What do I think? I think it's a great idea to have a safe place for mutants, but that's not why I came here Mr. Xavier."
"Please, call me Charles or Professor, most of the other students do. I do know why you're here Lily and believe I can help you."
"You can? How?"
"You have a very strong mind Lily, but you don't always know how to control it. We can teach you how to master your ability here and that will aid you to get your family back safe."
"With all due respect Professor, I only have two months to get my family back, that's not near enough time for me to get control over this."
"I believe you'd be surprised at what both you and our teachers here can do. Please Lily, let us help you. You can learn how to master your powers and meet other mutants as well."
"What about Logan? What will he do while I'm here?"
"He'll be helping me. We're also going to try locating Victor so we can stop him and get your family back. So what do you say? Would you like to become a student here?"
I thought about it. It was only for two months. The school back home thought I was on vacation anyway. Most importantly it will help me get my family back. "Okay. I'll go to school here."
