Training sessions with the Professor and Jean were going really well, I've had much better control over my mind and emotions lately. Things don't even move when I get nervous anymore. I could move things with my brain without crashing them into objects and destroying them. The Professor says I'm a Class 5 or Omega level mutant. That means I'm one of the most powerful mutants out there, but I can leave chaotic destruction if I don't learn to control myself. He also said I had progressed really fast; faster than most other mutants he has trained. I guess a lot of that had to do with my determination. I was getting my family back, and I wasn't going to let anything get in my way.

Two days later, after all my classes were over, I was approached by Storm. She said the Professor wanted to meet with me and a few other mutants. She handed me a black leather suit and told me to change into it. After I was finished, she took me to the same level of the school where I had been training with the Professor and Jean. This time though, I wasn't led to the Professor's office. I was taken to a huge room where inside I saw a huge black, fancy-looking jet.
When I had arrived, I saw that there were others there as well. I saw Finn, Logan, Hope, Danny, Derek, Jean, Mr. McCoy and the Professor. There were also others there that I didn't recognize. I took a better look and realized they were all wearing the same leather suit I was, except the Professor. I wondered what was going on.
The Professor approached me and said, "Lily, I'd like to introduce you to a few people." He gestured to the people I hadn't recognized.
The first person was a tall man with shaggy brown hair and a visor over his eyes. "This is Scott Summers," the Professor said, "also known as Cyclops."
I looked at Scott and asked, "What can you do?"
He smiled and turned and faced toward the wall, where no one was standing. He took his fingers up to the rims of his visor and a small beam of red light shot out. I watched quickly to see what would happen and when I turned back to the wall, there was a giant black scorch mark. That wall was made of steel. I could only stare with eyes as big as saucers and say one word, "Cool."
Scott laughed and the Professor moved on. The next person was a girl with long, straight, brown hair. In her hair was one white streak; it looked pretty cool to me. She stuck out a hand for me to shake and I noticed she was wearing gloves. "Hi, I'm Rogue," she said. She had a kind of country voice, like she was from somewhere in the Midwest. Missouri maybe, I thought The Professor explained that Rogue could absorb the memories, skills, and powers through skin-to-skin contact of other people. That explained why she was wearing the gloves.
The next person I met was a boy with dark blue, short, curly hair. He had beautiful, golden eyes. His body was also the same shade of blue as his hair, had three fingers, pointed ears, and a tail. When he spoke, he had a very distinct German accent. "Hello," he said. "My name is Kurt Wagner, but I am also called The Nightcrawler. Along with my night vision, I am able to teleport to both near and far places." He then flashed around a lot, very quickly. I caught glimpses of him on different spots on the walls and on the ceiling.
Then there was a blonde boy with spiked up hair and crystal blue eyes. I figured this was Bobby because he was standing between two angry looking siblings that got along as well as fire and ice. Literally!
"You must be Bobby,"I said.
We shook hands and he replied, "Yeah, nice to meet you Lily."
"You too," I said.
The last was a small girl with brown hair and brown eyes that looked very familiar. I had to think a moment before I remembered. She was the girl I saw go through the door of the Professor's office the first day I came here. So she can phase through things. Awesome! "Hi," she said, giving a small wave. "I'm Kitty, nice to meet ya!"
I smiled, "Nice to meet you too, Kitty."
"Well Lily," I heard the Professor start, "now you've met everyone. Now, recently we have been able to pinpoint a hideout Victor has been using for something, but we aren't sure what for. We are going there, but it's heavily guarded and we will need many different types of skill for this mission. You've come a long way in your training Lily, so, I'd like to welcome you to the X-Men.
