Diamond's POV

(A/N: try listening to the song as you read this part)

Since he's not speaking, I pull out my phone and I pick right through me by Nicki Minaj from my music list and put it on repeat. He casts a glance at me when the music starts, a small smile crosses his face and his gaze returns to the road.

I glance at him and he seems lost in his thoughts. There's a faint frown on his face and his distant eyes are fixed on the road ahead. He's gripping the steering wheel so tightly, his knuckles are turning white. I notice fresh bruise marks on his knuckles and I know he'd fought tonight before going to the club

Instinctively, my left hand move to cup his right hand and give it a squeeze. He jerks out of his trance at my gesture and turns to cast a questioning glance at me.

He's definitely at conflict with himself and I wonder the cause.

"Are you alright?", I ask him.

He's a bit taken aback by my question before his trademark million dollar smile breaks on his face. "I'm fine babe", he says and turn to the road.

Did he just call me babe?

I don't know why but it excites me.

Finally, he pulls up and motions for me to come with him, after he gets my door. I oblige and we walk inside a building that looks like...wait, it is a karaoke bar? Why did Ace bring me to a karaoke bar?

"Ace, my man, how you doing?"

A dark rugged haired guy, dressed in black jeans and a black sweater, hollers at Ace as he approaches. They hug briefly and exchange pleasantries as I stand back and watch them.

"Well, who's this beautiful angel here?", Louis, I think Ace said, whistles and their gazes get stuck up on me.

Beautiful angel? Hmm....

"Louis meet my friend, Diamond Jewels; Diamond meet my partner in crime, technically, Louis Harding", Ace introduces us.

I take his extended hand in a shake.

"Pleasure finally meeting you Diamond", Louis says and proceed to take my hand to his lips, but midway to his lips, Ace snatches my hand from Louis's and glares at him.

Louis straightens and puts up his hands up in mock defence then laughs, "my apologies man. That way", Louis gestures to our left.

Ace doesn't let my hand go but propel me alongside him and we enter a blue lit room.
